its appreciative how she stand with baldev wen he was in d destructive mode but then also i won't applaud her for the mother she is... she is just going to make baldev do more wrongs than guiding him to d right path...

Agree, Bansuri was NEVER a good mother but in some way, she has always supported baldeva!👏

And yes, she is still showing wrong path for baldev.😳

Look everyone, come out of La la Land!! Bansuri is a TERRIBLE mother and a terrible person! THAT is the reason that Baldev is in the position he is in today! It is 99.9% Bansuri's fault. I despise her.

I was happy she was supportive of her son. But the reason her son was breaking down into pieces was BECAUSE of her disgusting upbringing!!

Baldev! Open your eyes and come out of Biji's clutches! I love Baldev. But his mother will ruin him, if he is not going to see her for what she is now!!

When they could not win the election from foul means, now they are trying to get Ratan kicked out of her job?? Kya Kahu main in Ma Bete Khi Jodi Ko??

I am shocked at how some people talk about Ratan like she is some villain and support that awful women Bansuri?? What has she EVER done other than think of herself or her son? Even her son is NOT a person to her. He is just a means of feeling superior. She wanted her son to be sarpanch so that she can lord it over the rest of the village. That is the reason she wanted her husband to be sarpanch as well. It was never about Balwant and now it is not about Baldev. It is always about BANSURI.

IF she cared about her children, she would not try to cheat her husband with another man. (Nihal Singh). She used to get him to their house to teach her kids so that she can flirt with him? Both Gunjan and Baldev were in the house! THIS is the women everyone is admiring, coz she was supportive of Baldev when he broke down? If she is not even going to do THAT for her son, then she is no mother at all.

I totally second u.. ratan had major reasons fa her behaviour towards veera. . Even den she made sure she had a good upbringing by ranvi.. she cared nd respected their relationship. .

But Bansuri has no reasons.. she ill treated gunjan all her childhood nd messed up her education. . Nd wid baldev too she has messed up big time.. nd yest her hug to baldev is least expected out of her as a mother.. gunjan broke all ties wid her but she ws least bothered.. so wat makes her worthy of appreciation? ?

I dont feel sorry for Baldev, neither do I applaud Bansuri for comforting Baldev when he had his meltdown. Baldev reminded me of the former obnoxious chota Baldev when he started throwing his tantrum. I don't sympathise with him because his tactics and his motive behind wanting to become Sarpanch was wrong. He thinks becoming the sarpanch is his birth right - thanks to his evil mother, but the truth is he didnt deserve to win and it certainly is not his birth right. After what he did to diqualify Ranvi he truly deserved to lose.

Bansuri is a despicable woman and I hope she gets her dues some time soon. She has always used her children to further her own agenda (power, money pride, fame etc) and has taught them to cheat, lie and deceive rather than to work hard and to achieve on the basis of their own merits. She has turned Baldev into a misogynist and it's quite reprehensible to see how he will now try to sabotage Ratan's career on the grounds that she is a woman and thus incompetent to run the pind. Why would any woman befriend him; let alone fall in love and want to marry someone like Baldev!?

The truth is Ratan does deserve to be the sarpanch. Even if she had initially given away Veera to an orphanage, that does not make her a woman of bad character. She has never intentionally abused or hurt Veera. She's given her shelter, food, clothes, a family and most importantly an education, because of which Veera is the independent woman she is today. What has Bansuri done for her kids and her family? She wouldn't even let Balwant see his other child from his 1st marriage, if he'd brought her to his home she'd probably turn the kid into her household servant or kick the poor child out w/o any mercy. Ratan and Bansuri are not comparable. Bansuri has always indulged her son's bad deeds and has always neglected her own daughter.

I've always liked Baldev/Veeba but his behaviour in the whole of this sarpanch track has irked me. I couldn't muster any sympathy for the mother son duo during today's episode. And this whole track has brought out just how similar Baldev and Balsuri are. I sincerely hope the makers show Baldev reforming, actually doing something productive with his life and getting rid of his misogynistic mentality. Im sure his hatred for Veera will only intensify post this election debacle and he will reach new lows in order to avenge his loss.

Bansuri is the only one who is actually NICE to baldev, so I like her. Everyone else humiliates him whenever they feel like.
But yes I do accept that she's the reason behind baldev's failure.
