LOL...you and I are on the same page on so many things...Little Ranvi's Veeraaa was perfect (he used to tell her what's up...he hasn't been doing a good job of it lately).

She is becoming way too sanctimonious...like you said her using underhanded means is normal Veeraness...and kind of why Ballu and she are so perfect for each other...but maybe cuz she's all educated in Delhi and stuff now she thinks she's Queen of the world🤔...whatever it is she needs to check herself!

And everything you said about Gunjan is exactly what I feel...grown up Gunjan was never my fav from the start...and now after her drama I'm so over her...don't like her and never will.

Virtual high five for being awesome bud😃😃🤗

Chunga jii😊 And I think the awesomeness is mutual😉

Ranvi used to indulge Veera, but he'd also tell her his opinion on her behaviour. Functioning as her mother, it was he who would tell her off when she used to do something sly. But that is sorely missing from the show nowadays

Going into a little dangerous territory here, but I'm going to say it anyway. Shivin's portrayal of Ranvi has not impressed me, except sporadically. Whenever I think of Bhavesh and the maturity that he brought to Ranvi, Shivin is a big let down for me. His acting comes across as ineffectual whenever I think of the pre-leap episodes.

There, I said it! *Waits for brickbats*

Signing off, Sunny jii. 12.30 a.m. here, and I feel sleepy! This grandma needs her beauty sleep. Take care! Nice chatting with ya😃

Good night bud😃

Talk to you soon...and for what it's worth, I know what you mean...when you do the side by side comparison of pre-leap Ranvi and post leap Ranvi...Post leap one falls short, but I don't know if it's entirely Shivin's fault, I feel like the writers have dropped the ball big time when it comes to his character...it is a huge let down.

And Gunjan chiding Veera for her childhood neeji dushmani with Baldev didn't sit well with me. As far as I can remember, Veera took Gunjan's side whenever Baldev did any injustice to her when they were kids. (Let's face it, he was one mean child😃) So to listen to this remark of Gunjan's irked me to no end. She will, and always will be, an ingrate, fickle, and double-faced woman, IMHO. Agle hii scene paltii maregi by saying something against her Veerji.
And I am being the voice of dissent here- but somehow I am not liking Baldev's current avatar. I know that this angst, this innate capacity for tashan, is very much a part of Baldev. This burning necessity to prove himself, to carve an identity of his own, his hunger for a position of power. I get all of that.
But let's look at some of the means Baldev is adopting- bribing voters, intimidating a hapless villager to establish his office at a place of his choice... I feel uncomfortable with some of his methods.
I get that the ghayal sher has been provoked by the sherni, and he is all out to get his prey. But I'd love to see the conflict in Baldev at every turn as he hadd paar karofies😊 I think the metamorphosis, this growth in his character as he examines himself and his motives would make the track more interesting.
At the same time, I am glad that his basic decency and sense of family was preserved by his refusal to harm Ranvi. Clearly, though Baldev affirms that he will cross all boundaries, there is a strong moral core that is very much a part of him. And will always will be, in spite of some skewed perceptions and his arm-twisting ways.

^^ 👍🏼

@bold: While I don't feel this strongly about her, I pretty much agree with almost all of the above.

😃

I actually thought Baldev might NOT be guilty of bribing people while watching the Panchayat scene (though him randomly deciding to be helpful to a poor man by buying him medicine was a bit hard to swallow), and so I was cringing on Veera's behalf and wishing she wasn't so impulsive and eager to prove Baldev wrong any chance she got. In the GunVeera scene, I started out agreeing with Gunjan in so far as her advising Veera to think a little before jumping to conclusions went, but at the same time, she had me going all 'Who does she think she is?' and I ended up feeling and rooting for Veera.
She just came across as being slightly petty and mean to me.

^^ I get what you mean, but I can't help but overlook those wrong-doings to just enjoy Baldev the character 'cos for me, Vishal manages to make him likeable inspite of his obvious wrong-doings (You know he's wrong, but you can't help but root for him as a sort of underdog! Kudos to Vishal for so efficiently portraying all the different shades of Baldev!).

😊

^^I'm not so sure about this, 'cos somehow it doesn't strike me as a very Baldev thing to do, if you know what I mean...

^^ But this I can totally get on board with. Watching him grow and seeing him examine himself and his motives without losing his innate 'Baldevness' (I really have no idea how to put this better!) would definitely make for a more interesting track!

^^ Agreed! One of the reasons I ship this show is 'cos of the way the Baldev character has been written. It's fascinating how they've managed to have him so easily straddle and move between both the good and the bad. I've never seen a character that justifies the term 'grey-shaded' so well. Of course, this probably has to do with Vishal as well...but I think they kind of feed off each other (Baldev the character as he's written, and Vishal as he portrays Baldev i.e...am I making sense?).

Very well written! It was really nice to read of your perspective.😊

And yes, Baldev the underdog wins the show all the way. Two main reasons- One, he has been written better than the other three, I think. And two, VISHAL, VISHAL, and VISHAL. He is certainly the most fascinating among the other protagonists, because he is so unpredictable in many ways; yet you just KNOW that there are some depths he just won't descend to.

*Signing off*

Dang!! I love today's episode!! The evil baldev is back to action..He turned out more smarter then i thought. His plan was shocking and amazing. Veera's speechless reaction was treat to watch. Bas, we love this baldev❤️ Someone who can kill veera's ego is baldev only.
Gunjan for the first time i love her so much. She was the fuel to the fire.👏It also proves that G is concerned toward her brother (ryt now).

Precap : Bansuri's evil plan...Made me more excited!! Bansuri's was mindblowing! She should win a award for being awesome mom!!
