You are not wrong NJ! and we would have appreciated it as well if this track was there keeping in mind his old (initial) attitude.
We don't hv a problem with such tracks. But if you see baldev's history, in a way they are cont. deteriorating his character na? What suddenly happened to the old baldev?? If the wudn't have made him do ALL other comedy scenes as well, then we wud have loved this. But tye thing is tht, he
Is being turned into the comedian of the show all together.
All the comedy(90%) scenes are being done by baldev constantly. Why?? He is slowly turning into the joker of the show. Why only him?? And that too all the tym??
Being happy-go-lucky, funny, crazy is a different thing, but being the (ThE) comedian of the show is different!!

I just wanna say that they are overdoing the comedy part. Atleast give some respect to what typ of baldev they showed earlier... We are losing him ENTIRELY. We get our old baldev for hardly 10 mins in a weak or even month!
The prob is that we actually loved the old ballu as well...!!

NJ, I'm glad to find someone thinking like me. I'll only wait and watch... Vishal doing something like this makes me love and appreciate him more😳 As fr Baldev, he's going to this extreme to get back his sister's happiness so Veera should see this, and yes they wouldn't have made this decision in the air just like that. Something might hv led to all these drama and I'm looking forward to it. And about the plan, obviously its ridiculous but here I'll forget the logic of the story fr sometime to maintain my sanity and focus on the thoughts, intentions and insights of the characters :)

@Rimjhim- Old Baldeva is there, its just that his care fr his loved ones in his soft heart is more in focus at the moment since love can change anyone, make him view things in a new light and be a better person. And Baldev loves Veera... We all hv seen genuine feelinhs of him fr her. Btw if you see, he still has the same attitude of winning anything by hook or crook or jumping onto conclusions in his anger or being dominating with his chamchas. It's just that his approach towards his family has become more serious. I'm sorry if I sounded too preachy or annoying but its just my pov :)

If you see you'll realize that his journey to this softie side of him started way back when Veera got ditched by Karan and Baldev wanted to cheer her up. He even succeeded but in return, got stomped on his foot, but that didn't affect him since his Sherni ws back!! This shows that even with a rough personality outside, he has a loving heart who cares fr others happiness even if it meant getting hurt himself in return. Anyways yes love vishal :-)

Thank you for this topic Namrata, it does make me feel better about the episode because you are right while I hate this plan of Veera's one has to respect Baldev for willingly going through with this for the sake of his sister's happiness. It is a complete 180 from the Baldev we would have seen before the leap, now he is showing he does have a heart and would do anything for those he holds dear to him. If this doesn't open Veera's eyes then its her loss.

I don't know NJ...I've been enjoying Ballu's funny stuff...he is pretty good and has great comedic timing. I get that Baldev as a character has been shown as someone with many sides to him. And I too have no real issues with the comedy bits, as long as it's well-balanced with the serious bits and its written and executed well.

But in this case, I'm not happy with this plan or the way this track is going. As I said in another post, if I were Baldev, I'd have grown angrier when Veera revealed the plan to me, 'cos what if Balwant had actually had a heart attack? The whole point of the Ranjan wedding happening the way it did was Balwant's health.

Chalo, I'm not Baldev. Also, it's a serial and as we saw, Balwant didn't have a heart attack. And Baldev decides he's OK with doing anything to get his behen and jeejaji together. Fine.

BUT. I personally draw the line at actually having him sit at the mandap in a ghagra-choli with Ranvi! Vishal/Baldev in that ghagra is...NO. Just NO. (It makes me cringe rather than smile, honestly.)

Maybe I'm not the target audience, and maybe when the scene finally happens, it'll make people laugh, but I can't wait for this track (and the Baldev-in-a-Ghagra scenes) to be over. Just my two cents.

This is why I love Baldev, he has a rough exterior but underneath is a heart of gold. The different layers to his character is what makes him intriguing to watch and while the CVs don't always do justice to both the character or actor, I do believe they spent a lot of time and thought investing in his character who has been a revelation since the leap!

Anyway, I am just patiently waiting to for proper VeeBa's LS. ASA RanJan drama will be over, we will get to see some nice, beautiful, intense, hot, cute, adorable, heart touching VeeBa romance ☺️ I just waiting for that day to come 😳 😆

Good post!!! Veera and Baldev have an interesting relationship which I enjoy watching and I can only hope once RanJan reunite we get a proper track between the two. Things have to start moving forward.

Mandy, this is what I kept saying since the news of Baldev becoming the bride was revealed. He never cared for himself to get things back to normal, to bring back the happiness of people special to him or important in his life. He has not changed. He's still short-tempered as we see in today's episode, but then he cares for his sister a lot na.

Btw I agree that the plan is crap and Baldev as the bride is crappier but something must have happened. We did see in the precap that there was a girl. She can pretend as the bride, but what made Baldev do it? Perhaps the girl couldn't reach on time at the last moment and since there was no other way, Baldev sat in place of her. The plan is nonsense no doubt, but for now I am just looking at Baldev's intentions behind this and I believe he's justified in what he's doing as in his character is justified. Hope I made sense!
