Baldev's characterization and pairing changed bcoz of viewers requests

Is it true that his role was changed to this present positive self and also was paired opposite veera bcoz of audience's requests? I have heard this many times but can someone post a link of an article mentioning this? plz

when they had decided for the leap it was decided that veera wud be paired opposite karan the washroom incident that happened in delhi where karan was seen making fun of ranvi and hitting him wud have given ranvi a wrong impression abt karan and when karan came to pritampura veera and karan wud fall for each other and karan wud try his best to prove veera's family that he loved veera and impress her family members but nothing happened

Even I felt Karan was supposed to be paired opposite her but Baldev might have come into the picture some time later. I never made the Veeba connection pre leap.
I am not sure of the pairing but I have serious doubts on his characterization. I feel it was changed a lot because of the response. He was hardly given any importance in the articles published when the leap was taken. Gunjan was always mentioned as Ranvi's love interest.
I remember after watching him for the first time I checked IF and twitter. There was a huge uproar for the Baldev and Veeba. Maybe that was the reason.😕

I think VeeBa were always supposed to happen.

Vishal had auditioned for Ranvi's role but was selected for Baldev. He was at first apprehensive about playing a negative character but was convinced by the CVs that it was grey and there will be lots of twists.

Obviously a guy who had auditioned for the lead role wouldn't agree for a less important negative role.

And in their childhood Veera and Gunjan called everybody other than Baldev and Ranvi respectively Veerji. So the makers probably had these pairs in mind since pre-leap.

Also, Karan didn't get a promo for his entry while Baldev did.

And Karan and Veera had absolutely NO spark, the makers would have sketched their story better if they were meant to be a couple.

I knew VeeBa will happen pre-leap
but I never thought that I will be their Fangirl 😆

I think it was all pre-planned...Veera and Baldev pairing was decided before the leap itself!

Pre-leap se hi dono ki pairing hai bakiyo ka nahi pata but mujhe to lagta tha dono leap ke baad sath honge. Veera ka sabko veerji bolna bas baldev ko chhod kar

Dats cool..I had thought of veeba being paired up in their childhood..on seeing their fights...bt was disappointed wen I heard abt karan being playd by shakti..n at the moment I saw baldeva..d crackers scene..I jus thought shayad veeba hoga..n 4m dat moment slowly slowly..liked him ,fallen 4 him..n luvng him n his baldevisms...I never thought dat one day I wud be a baldevian...all thanks t vishal n his never ending adorable xprsns ...a big thanks t CVS 4 this one n only luvly decision...n thanku 4 informing this..Tfs

i dont think his characterization chaged .i must say cvs r very clear about story .
they r always clear about pair before leap its ranjan veeba .may be they change lil bit in ballu character n not made pure grey but add some comeady element in his antics
but they r very clear about story karan never be a major character.
