I don't think Gunjan just hates Veera and Ranvi, I think she also is playing with her mom to and testing how far her mom is willing to go. When she said to Bansuri "Is it true that even our own family is our own?" it was clear she was questioning this. Also when her mom says mean things about Ranvi you can tell Gunjan isn't completely supportive of it, but she's going to let her mom do what her mom wants. I think Gunjan's main enemy is Veera. I noticed it once Veera came to Pritampura again. Veera came so happily to see Gunjan, and Gunjan had a stuck up face on.
It's clear that Gunjan really envy's Veera, and wants to bring her down at all costs. For one she sees Veera getting such a loving home, and a brother who will do anything for her. Also most of Veera's dreams have come true, unlike Gunjan's that haven't. I think Gunjan does really regret not going to school, but instead of admitting it and sharing her sadness she holds it in and its creating a lot of anger and hate. She's clearly taking it out on the wrong people. She knows she can harm Veera, but its pointless going against her own mom.
I think Gunjan also really resents her mother, but will do anything to win her love. It's clear though, that she knows what her mom is trying to say is wrong, but she wants to hurt Veera no matter what.
