The episode starts with Baldev shouting at Ratan and family gathered for ranvi's marriage proposal. bansuri also shouts at them on how did they even imagine this wedding as possible. Ratan apologizes for their hasty and sudden appearance. Baldev reminds Ratan that they were responsible for Gunjan's engagement breaking. Baldev says that ranvi called Gunjan alone which cannot be forgiven. Veera tries to defend her brother but Bansuri shouts at Veera on how they are completely worthless...and Gunjan has no future with Ranvi. Baldev tells them to leave.
Balwant comes in and scolds Baldev...and says that only he alone can take the decision about Gunjan's life. Baldev is about to retort but Balwant stops him and reminds him that he had got Gunjan engaged to a wrong person just for his own selfish reasons. Bansuri says that she won't allow Gunjan to be married by anyone. Balwant says that Bansuri should think other than money. Ratan says that maybe they should ask Gunjan about what she feels. Bansuri says that this is not a city where a girl will accept her love in front of everyone...gunjan is unlike Veera. Ratan scolds Bansuri and says that Veera was unselfish and chose her pind rather than her love. Balwant decides that Gunjan should decide for herself.
Balwant leaves to get Gunjan and veera is all excited that now finally Gunjan will accept her love in front of everyone.Bansuri and Baldev are worried. Balwant gets Gunjan and she walks shyly down...smiles and keeps her hand on the shagun plate Ratan has got for her. But then suddenly she overturns the thalli. She shouts at Ratan that she will not marry Ranvi...everyone is shocked..
Gunjan says that Ranvi is just a friend and nothing more. She asks Ranvi if she had ever accepted her love for Ranvi. She asks what can Ranvi give her? Can he give her the dreams she had always dreamt? Veera is shocked and asks Gunjan why she is behaving like this when she had seen the love in Gunjan's eyes and her veerji has always loved Gunjan.
Gunjan reveals that on the way to the mazhaar she had realized that ranvi loves her and understood that both Ranvi and Veera had conspired and alleged false stories to break off her engagement. Gunjan shouts on both Veera and Ranvi for breaking her trust and deliberately coming in the way of fulfillment of her dreams. She accepts that she had been deliberatelymisleading Ranvi so that she can proove to the entire pind that Ranvi & Veera had planned together.
Precap: a shocked Ranvi tells Gunjan that all the bitterness in her will one day kill her and Gunjan says that she had died long before..
