why the word forgive for ratan/veera situation

The definition of to forgive : stop feeling angry or resentful toward (someone) for an offense, flaw, or mistake

From the beginning chaiji and ranvi have been begging yes begging
Ratan to forgive veera they must have used the word a thousand
Time "she's just a kid", "she's innocent" forgive her.
My question is why forgive ? What has veera did to ratan to forgive her
The answer from my pov is nothing. Her only mistake is to be born to the wrong people,
We can't choose our parents. Her parents were the one that needed to be forgiven by ratan
The adults did the mistake and the child is paying for it like they say
"Children pay for their parents sins".

Its just irks me veera have been craving motherly love from ratan
For so long asking herself what had she done to make her mum to don't love me.
We as viewers know the answer to the question. But she doesn't

Some may say ratan did all she could concerning veera, even saying
Veera isn't her responsibility (in some way its true but not entirely ). Veera is After all her husband child

From the start ratan was in a dilemma between woman and mother until now the woman side had always
Win she let anger, hate, betrayal win every time even when she show some sign of
Affection to veera she immediately pull back its like she doesn't want to forget nothing
The only reason she's done all those thing for veera its not out of love, its for ranvi sake she know if she doesn't do them she will lose her only child ranvi.

The fact that she blames veera for her husband cowardly disappearing act is beyond me
And how she quickly forgive and forget what her husband did the root of all her pain just angers me.

The problem when he should've shown the good guy he just ran leave his wife and children to fend for themselves
And how they glorified him after his death bit*** please
Maybe because the track needed him to be an a** for ranvi-veera track but plz stop with praise of the guy

i think forgive is used for veera's real mom not for veera..they know that the only way ratan can accept veera wholeheartedly is by forgiving her real mom becox ratan wants to love veera and does love her even if she doesnt show it (she went and cleaned the board with ranveera written on it for veera's homecoming, she exchanged her bangles for earings for veera)

Veera doesnt need to be forgiven because she has not done any thing wrong in the first place. i think Chaija is talking about Veera's mom.

Veera remind me Preity Zinta's character in Dil Hai Tumhaara. she did so many things to make her mother love her even though she doesnt know why her mom hated her. then later her mom finally sees a daughter not a rival in her.

Ratan was not this much angry at Veera before the leap. with time things should be getting better in worst.

i wonder after watching the morning tea scene if Ratan's hatred for Veera increased because of the way she sees her son slaving away and Veera is taking advantage of it. i saw some disgust in her face when Ranvi said he is making tea for Veera who is still asleep.

i really had expected Veera to start taking care of her brother too. she is not a baby any more. and maybe Ratan sees that too.

on monday she said she didnt see her Veera, she only saw Amirta. my question is that what has Veera done all this while to come close to Ratan?

she should have been down helping Ratan in the morning or at list make breakfast for her. if she wanted to be close. she is not a kid anymore. because as a parent. i would not like anyone who takes advantage of my child...even if that person is my own blood child.

I AM NOT SAYING RATAN IS RIGHT. personally i know i would have gotten over the whole her mother's daughter crap like 20 years ago. But we see that Ratan's heart is trying its just that her head wouldn't let her accept Veera.

Maybe am to early to judge Veera so let me give her a week more to see her own efforts...again she is not a kid anymore.
i want to see her question Ratan or make an effort at get her mother's love.

then i will put all blames on Ratan.

And about Sampooran, I am really disgusted that Ratan could forgive him, but she cant see the little innocent baby in front of her.

Samporan is the root of all this mess. i dont care if he save people lives, but he killed his own wife and two children by running away to let them face his crap alone. i can never forgive this man even after knowing how he died.

if he had stayed back and face it. and try to make things work (even if he fails while trying) maybe i would have forgiven him.
