Shrouded with mystery, under the pretext of giving back money,,, laden with some mysterious guilt, Nihal enters RANVEERPURA!
We waited for some clue over his character but none came in... speculations, guesses and then we thought to wait till the CVs put some light over the man. But none came... from initial rounds of roaming about, suddenly Nihal was everywhere! As i mentioned in one of the posts before... he became been omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient! One of the days i found myself wondering... oh wow! How did Ratan and Ranveera survive without having him around for so many years!
On the Lohri day, it was Nihal to save Veera, not Ranvi... then training Ranvi for the play, it was Nihal... pulling him out of the ditch, oh who better and taller than Nihal? Now finding Veera, its Nihal and calling the Panchayat, its Nihal again and lo behold he counters the panch when Ratan was there... and then he to arrange an entire circus for Veera!
So i come to my topic... since its all about being NIhal, NIhal and Nihal... are we moving towards 'Nihalpur' other than 'Raveerapur'???
When he was portrayed as a patronizing character, i had no issues... he pushed Ranvi to take an action... fair enough... appreciated the thoughtfulness but then what is happening since yesterday? Where has been the essence of the show? Why couldn't Ranvi be the one to rescue Veera... why was his pain sidelined... what about his anxiety?? Wasn't that an important aspect to show? Seeing the promos i was braced to watch the two most lovely kids scared and longing... but when I found Veera's pain unbearable... where was Ranvi's longing depicted?
From fretting over her to making attempts to bring her back to normal, it has all been Nihal... why was Ranvi not capable enuf of making Veera laugh? I thought he knew her welll and could be the only one to bring her life on track, then why circus show on Nihal's behest?
Then came the part where again Nihal is preceding in all the discussions... why? why is he speaking for Ratan?? Thats the Ratan i have come to admire so dearly! Ratan speaks for herself and her family... she along with her kids and Moti Chaaiji were doing absolutely fine before NIhal entered so why suddenly showing her dependent? Why was Ratan a mute spectator when Nihal fought for Veera in panchayat?
Till today, even Chaiji and Ratan has never come in between Ranveera but here this is reversing. I have no problem with Nihal but if he's at Ranvi's cost, i refuse to accept him. He can't be over shadowing him. Alternate characters and twist are necessary and are appreciated so long a it doesn't kill the essence of the show!
From what I see, Nihal is presented in a superhero avatar... What ever thing he's guilty for will be seen later but before that he's been portrayed in a positive light so that he can be easily acceptable and his secrets will be out. How convenient! His channels are being opened for himself to redeem. But for that, CV's can't be making Ranvi, a scapegoat... just not acceptable!
