Suddenly have no access to the QUOTE button.

This post relates to sbp 1971 post.

My disagreement, is not directed at Rattan not being able to forgive her husband. I am venting out my frustration because she is so insensitive towards the child whose existence in this world is not because of choice but due to someone else's mistake, betrayal whatever.

I too am married and if put in Rattan's situation, yes I will also freak out, loose confidence, feel betrayed and above all very very mad at my husband. But I will never take it out on a little innocent child. Go to such an extent, leave her at an orphanage because my son is being man enough to look after a child which his family and the whole village has abundant. There will be only a handful of women who will react like Rattan.

Yes I agree with you on this also, in the end Veera is the most innocent of all and no one is thinking about her at all, and that is very frustrating, and I also agree that she is being very insensitive, this is why I said she has selfish motives in leaving Veera in the orphanage, I think it has more to do with her feelings about Veera than Ranvi's attachment to Veera that made her take this step.

i was waiting for you lot since ages to say something. as far as i could undestand her from the begening till now she is the type who only want to be loved and pamperd. she does not care any thing eles or giving the loe towords her own son she only woke up when she realised that he always busy and love veera so she got more jeluse she does not eant to see her own mistakes that where she is going wrog but easily blames others.she is not worth of called as a mother or woman.

Absolutely agree that it has more to do with Veera and what she signifies than her son's spending all his time with Veera.

Hi Zaina, I am glad that many of us feel this way about Rattan's role. It would be far realistic, if a woman writer was appointed for just this part of the story line. It is said that only a woman will feel and understand anther's action in such a situation. There could be perhaps another direction the writers can take and still keep the integrity of the story line.

I disagree . It is not easy for Ratan to forgive Sampooran or accept Veera - and she took this decision because she thinks to some extent what the villagers told is right . Also she is concerned about Ranvi being abandoned b other kids .. These all led to her decision . I have all sympathies with her 😭.

The one and only one who wronged Veera is Sampooran 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 I hate him..

Ek tho veera ke naajayaz paithash kee kaaran woh hai . and he ran off with out taking responsibility of her . If he had to run away why didnt he take Veera along with him . If he had done that , it wouldn't have given so much of stress for Ratan.

Because Veera is not her child.
She is her husband's child with another woman. Better if Ratan left her in an orphanage because it's NOT her duty to look after Veera.

I really don't understand why so many ppl misunderstand ratan so much.shes not veera's mother.veera is an innocent child, yes but she's also sampooran's illegitemate child, her husbands!
Ranvi loves his step sister to the extent where he's becoming obsessed(I love his love for veera)but to ratan that obsession is becoming unhealthy for ranvi who IS her child.so she has every right to be concerned.
Also she doesn't blame veera for any of this, she just can't accept her.its called being human.she did what she felt was best for HER child first.if anyone's to be blamed for anything it's the man that ran!!

Ps agree 100% with Divyasn.

you put it right 👏
What ratan did was somehow justified frm a mother's point of view. She was ready to accept veera.but when she saw that Ranvir is going all crazy abt her, missing out school, friends, fun, childood innocence for a premature growing up she couldnt take it anymore.Afterall all she is a mom.She would want the best for her child.I have known some persons who inspite of being great human beings could never be accepted by their step mom.So i can resonate with ratan. She isnt mahan. She too is a human and above all a mom but only for Ranvir.😊

i also disagree...will post wht i commented in my post i made last nite...😃

.till nw i din find nythin wrong frm Ratan's side coz its easier to preach for ppl unless n until they themselves go thru this... I hv been sayin this rite frm beginnin tht Ratan's actions r JUSTIFIED...i knw her treatment with the child is wrong...But she need time to accept all includin Veera...As of nw,wht else can u xpect frm her?She ws leading a very happy family..And all of a sudden her happil family ws DESTROYED JUST LIKE THT...Her family, her blind trust on her husband and their love, the respect of the family..EVERYTHING WS LOST with the entry of Veera in her life...She knws Veera ka koi fault nahi ismein...bt still for the time being Veera will make her remember her SUDDEN HUGE LOSS time n time again..Shes still to come in terms with the sudden tragic change of events...But instead of givin time, fate ws being more cruel to her by 1st the miscarriage of her child followed by her husband's escapism frm her n all... Now the only person she can HOLD ON TO is Ranvi... Bt seein Ranvi's "passionate attachment" wid Veera make her feel tht nw its the turn nw her son bein goin away frm her...And this thing RATAN CANT EVEN DARE to think off...And thts d ONLY REASON made her took the drastic step of dropping veera in orphanage... This is wht i understand abt Ratan's current condition

Also wanna add...

i salute CVs for showin things in REAL/close to Reality manner and for not showin mahanta..v all r human beings with grey shaded characters...theres no only positive persons ya only negative persons...its the situations n ppl make them +ve/-ve...thts wht i beleive...n CVs hv EXACTLY portryaed Ratan's char lik tht...👏👏
