From what I heard it's going off air because Drashti Dhami isn't ready to play a mother. What is it with Indian actresses thinking they look much younger than they do. Will Drashti be ready to play that role when she's 40? The small faced, chubby actress is already 31, I can't imagine her surviving in our British television or even Hollywood for that matter.

Has it been confirmed by channel?

Haven't seen this news corroborated anywhere yet. Maybe it's coming soon but it's been less than 3 weeks since the reboot so announcement now would be premature.

Apparently the lead actor of TEI is also quitting! This seems to be the season of exits from Zee shows 😆 Can't blame any of these actors..Zee hai hi aisa 😛

Since it will be post-British era India, there would be a lot of scope for the changes that took place etc I
They will obviously need to get a new, more creative writer and probably an earlier viewing time (I'm still at a loss to understand why some other rubbish, dragging shows are garnering higher trps than ETR2 ever did so am assuming that it's the time slot as I know a lot of ppl sy they don't watch because of the time)
