schadenfreude, am so happy to see that there are others here who understands the reality of these Shows and how they work - thank you. It's like a relay team - if every1 don't pull their weight it won't work. I started watching Tashneishq because of my mom and found it so absurd that I stopped as soon as she went back home 😆 so I'm surprised at the ETRETR trp being lower than theirs but I think the trps have a lot to do with the time slot as well.

EfOrEnVy - you hate Ranaji because of the weak character he plays - he is actually doing his job which is acting out whatever the writer/creator writes. Is SK doing a good job - yes absolutely brilliant as he makes Ranaji's character come to life (whether spineless or not) and there is real chemistry between him & DD.
We need to separate the person from the character - that's all I'm saying. And like the character or not, the actual actors are doing a great job. If anyone is to be blamed for the story line, it's the writer/creator, not the cast. So, if we want to see the Show be successful, then we should get behind it and support it (there are a lot worse Shows out there).

Yes a show is hit or flop bcs of writer all cast and same with ETR2 too..and that's the main reason ETR2 suffering bcs of weak writing and poor script but last week episode was all about savitri and lakhan no one apart from dialogue writer DD and puneet is
responsible for it and talking about BRM audience like her no doubt but even she and rageswari also didn't get more than 2 min screen space along with rana,rajmata and rest all so when DD took so much risk to make this show work why should not we appreciate? It's D who paint her face black and go through those difficult dialogues with show stealer performance and entertain us throughout the week and when it come to appreciate her work people come here to advice why should we only appreciate her blah blah blah.It's not easy to paint urself black in a national television that to a popular actress like her apart from Mahi (that to starting of her career)no actress did this till now,You watch the show good u like SK good even I like him but that not mean just bcs he is the main lead I have to appreciate him and tag him in all post along with DD,it's matter of talent and shouting isn't acting even avdesh used to should and last week rana just shout like a maniac and did nothing else..yes yesterday's episode was good with some good performance by SK but that will added in next week trp, till then let us appreciate the girl who actually take huge risk for this show to work ,she is the one who truly deserve to appreciate for this week trp increase.

Last week TRP rise was savitri, her mannerism,her acting and after a long time Rana is also given some spine..(hope they redeem his character in this track), Lakhan and swarna-lakhan-lakshraj also was refreshing but center point was Savitri .. hands down.

I wonder where this devil's advocates were for past 3-4 months when story and character butchering for establishing vamp was happening.

BRM is OTT and Rags actress cant ACT other than shouting...she is a vary childish actor, if they had gone for a good casting for the role of rageshwari, last few months would have taken a U-turn , you needed a vamp who can emote if they were planning to get vamp married to hero..utter blunder they did. She just look like some giant model struggling hard to act. Serial had become nonsense and too serious for people to watch. Going by TRP..last week center stage was savitri...the huge decision taken by drashti...even sid said he wont paint himself black, i am sure nobody will do that in that serial other than priya tandon may be..she is also a fantastic actress. They sidelined all good actors to establish someone who cant act and everything backfired badly n people went to see other shows. Now also people are dreading to come back seeing same old unbelievable vamp fest.

Tashn-e-ishq - it had a good start but later fell down...it picked up in ratings after innumerable integration with KKB, JR and what not serials... Also, 8 PM slot has no competition like 9.30 slot..and 8 PM slot is expected to draw more audience than later slots... Writers are bullshit and CVs..better not to tell anything about them..anything but creative...this serial is getting this much TRP is even a big thing. Ekta knows how to use even a small character wisely for TRPs...but here they are trying hard to shove nonsense.

So advocates better try to appreciate what it is..and this is not a good world but a bad one..so if something is bad ..we need to point out even if its actors..

Kudos to DD 70% + and rest cast 30% for last week TRP rise

Completely agree with your assessment. It takes a team effort to make a show work. If the show's trps were due to DD's popularity then the trps should be 3+ regardless of the quality of the storyline. But she can barely garner 2 trps which any show without known actors can get, prime example being Tashne Ishqe which also airs on Zee.

Arey waah suddenly so many newbie ids specially analysing show's Trps 😛 Not very surprising 😳
