Rageshwari with sindoor smeared face pledges to seek justice and not perform her Brother's funeral rites till Ranaji doesnt agree to marry her. BRM is glad. Ranaji goes to his room. Gayatri also comes there. Ranaji is frustrated and shouts at her that this was bound to happen; she played with fire by letting Sartaj free and the fire had to burn him. He says she may not have lied to him but didnt tell him truth either. She is definitely hiding something from him. There must be a reason for her to go against his decision and he wants to know that reason. Gayatri recalls RM pleading with her to never reveal the secret to Ranaji. Ranaji says he is her husband and their relation is at stake right now. The other day when she & RM were discussing about Sartaj, they suddenly became silent when he came. He asks which secret is Gayatri hiding from her husband. Gayatri is in tears. She asks him to forgive her as she cant reveal it to him. Ranaji says it means there really is a secret. If she doesnt tell him the truth today then their relation will break. Husband-wife relation is based on trust and that trust will break if they keep secrets from each other & hide the truth. He asks her to swear on her Sindoor and tell him the truth and save their relation. She says she too is helpless. He gives her an ultimatum to tell him the secret by the sunset and leaves upset.
RM wonders how did the bullet fired for Sartaj kill Avdhesh. She orders the guards to catch Sartaj alive at any cost as only Sartaj can answer this. She orders a man to go with Rajpurohitji and arrange for Avdhesh's funeral. Gayatri comes there distraught and shares about Ranaji's ultimatum with her. She tells her today she has to choose b/w her husnand and the secret. In the balcony, Ranaji is looking at Rageshwari sitting with her bro's deadbody. BRM advises him to not give in to Rageshwari's demand. She says she knows Avdhesh's death is like a burden on him but he'll have to bear this burden and cant yield to it. Gayatri is his true love. Nothing in the world can compare with true love and he shouldnt disrespect his true love. Here RM tells Gayatri duty is more important than relation. She cant sacrifice her duty for relation. If her relation fails only 2 people will suffer but if her duty fails then whole Ameerkot will suffer. Gayatri says she understands this and thats why maintained silence till now but now it concerns her love and her husband. A wife can sacrifice everything for her duty but cant sacrifice her husband. Today if their relation breaks, it will shatter Ranaji as well. RM says even if Ranaji marries Rageshwari, Gayatri will always be his first wife and he'll love her only. If she reveals the secret to Ranaji, the aftermaths do not guarantee Ranaji's existence. She is not only a wife but also a Queen and daughter-in-law of Royal family and will have to take the decision accordingly. Among Royalties, a man marrying twice is treated with respect but a son of a dacoit and a courtesan gets no respect. Ranaji can live w/o love but not respect. She couldnt save her son's happiness but Gayatri can save his life and Gayatri has to decide if she chooses to become a Sautan or a widow. Gayatri is shocked. RM kneels down to her and begs for her son's life.
BRM tells Ranaji, she knows that he can sacrifice his life than not honor his promise but she wont let him ruin his life to keep his promise to Rageshwari. She will go ask Gayatri which secret is she hiding from him and why. Ranaji stops her and says she need not talk to Gayatri as he has complete trust in Gayatri; she knows their relations is at stake and she'll never let their relation break. She is in dilemma right now but will surely find a way out. He thanks BRM for her concern. BRM nods and leaves. She gloats that she has completely boxed Gayatri into a corner this time. Now Gayatri will make her first sacrifice leading her to her first victory.
Rajpurohitji tells Rageshwari Avdhesh's soul will not be liberated if his funeral isnt performed by the evening and asks her to let them complete his funeral rites. In response she places Avdhesh's deadbody on bier and drags it along the courtyard refusing to let anyone touch it. Kokila gets scared and tells Kuvarji that Rageshwari looks like a witch. What will happen to Ranaji if he marries her. Kuvarji asks her to think about them and not Ranaji. They arent able to tackle one wife of Ranaji then two wives will surely have them ruined. When a naive looking Gayatri can prove so smart then Rageshwari is really cunning. He says he'll have to figure out the conspiracy & how BRM is involved in it with Rageshwari.
Ranaji and Gayatri recall moments with each other. "Tadap tadap ke is dil se" plays in BG. Ranaji looks at their wedding pic. Gayatri also looks at their pic and cries. They both reach the courtyard. Ranaji hugs Gayatri and says he knows that she can never let their relation break. She can sacrifice her life but not love. Gayatri thinks whether she hides the truth from Ranaji or reveals it; either way it is going to hurt.

Rageshwari tries to immolate herself alongwith Avdhesh's pyre. Ranaji saves her and accepts the punishment she has imposed on Gayatri & him. Rageshwari as if like taking nuptial rounds, takes rounds with Ranaji around Avdhesh's pyre.
