Imagine gayatri was not just a rich man's daughter but a freedom fighter. Believes in democracy and wants both british rule and monarchy to end.

Indravadan a well read and foreign bred prince who loves British culture. He wants to do good for his people abolish lot of ill practises in his society wants british to leave india but at the same time believes in monarchy. He feels democracy will be a failure in the society with less educated people and it was better to be ruled by an able king like him.

If these two meet accidently and irrespective of their differences start falling for each other. We dont need over zealous villains just the principles the leads believe is enough to bring drama and complexity in the relation. How much interesting conversations they could have had? Gayatri would have been such a strong woman. Indravadan could have been charismatic.

Phew a golden oppurtunity lost. I think i should write an ff what do u guys think?
