She was still thinking like a wife...she needed to start thinking like a Queen...! If a King has to sacrifice his life in defense of his throne, then so be it...!

She'll definetly think like a queen if the battle is for Ameerkot and its Praja.. and here it is Avdesh a phsycho so there is nothing wrong in thinking like a wife.

sacrificing your life for your nation is a honour whereas fighting with people like avdesh is a stupidity.

Bert, I can only write from what I understand of the wu.
It seemed to me that even g was duped by the drama with kunwar chacha. She seemed mighty confused as to whether he actually liked rnj. Also rnj gave the explanation that the guy was indeed weird like she suspected, but harmless. All in all her guard was down too.

Not sure if there was anything in the show to suggest that she kept quiet bcoz of prior experiences. After all, rnj had apologised to her for the same incident.

I enjoyed avdesh. He was this weird, eccentric guy...I guess we can't explain such people. 😆

It seemed like he gave up his revenge plans for g, and he had been obsessed to the point of giving up everything if he couldn't have her...

Must say tum mere ho stopped annoying me after I saw the gone look in his eyes. It was so hilarious after that. Such an idiot! 😆

Possibly Chick...but the discussion between RNJ and G happened prior to this...he specifically asked her if something had happened...and she glossed over it...!

If she had indeed been duped, she changed her opinion back pretty quickly when he hit on her yet again...

I am not a fan of stalker drama ...never liked Shahrukh Khan in Darr or Baazigar...toh phir Avdesh kya cheez hain 😆

He could have been written more intelligently, Chick..!

Lots of valid points but for me from the writing aspect pure realism was not going to happen.
They took bits and pieces but implemented it elsewhere. Meaning Gayatri acting like a wife and was more concerned about safety.

Because what really should have happend did not happen because CV chose for it.
What would have been better and realistic is if Ranaji either died in the swordfight with pride, or he would see that Avdesh was indeed cheating and catch that, and win the fight. But in both cases s/l would be over soon. The bet was too risky. One of them would have died, because Avdesh is that evil. Then it would make more sense his sister came for revenge, but that is another discussion.

Sadly we have to look at this s/l from a different aspect. For some reason they let him hang in this s/l too long by adding the bromance with Ranaji. Why not keep him as a worthy foe instead?
Especially since it seems like our villain is not going to learn anything from Ranaji being this kind to him. Maybe the writers can answer that for me.

When i watch series like this i usually have low hope of what i want them to portray. Its better we look for the positive things from what they do end up portraying. This s/l is just a lesson for both Gayatri and Ranaji. Just written in a rather annoying way. This whole game was to break Ranaji and take Gayatri. Obstacles need to be moved out of the way kind of thing. But she made it clear she would never be his.

But its nice we can see different POV from everyone and discuss it 👏

Intelligently how? I would have missed the joker.😉
The script handled it pretty well, I thought. G wanted to talk about it, but she is not that open with her husband. Probably she can't be because they have not had a physical relationship and even bringing it up is a horrendous idea. She had been petrified that rnj would catch her in that compromising position earlier. She had no idea how a guy would respond to this.

But the way he swore allegiance to rnj confused her. It looked like her husband's well wisher was hitting on her. She must have thought the best solution was to keep their interactions minimal. She would not have thought that she was his only focus.

I completely agree...maybe intelligent writing does not fetch them TRPs...and contrived drama does...going by the example of the shows on the chart, I would think so...

Actually I felt the whole duel was pointless...if they had jumped direct from the G rescue thing and shown Avdesh befriending RNJ with his sob story and then continued right up to the dice game...and that is where it is revealed that Avdesh had come in with a master plan...exposed his background etc...it would've still worked..

But it is their show and their story...

We can only watch and comment...

And yes, I really enjoy these discussions wherein we are able to understand and appreciate alternate povs..😊

Ha ha, me too. I like to imagine that joker loves to show a glimpse of himself in some bekar characters like this. 😉 no comparing the two, I agree.😆

@Soup- did u watch hte BTS of Av getting belted?

Just curious why belt? anything symbolic? other than unbridled anger?
i know he lost all his other weapons & Av owns everything

strangling would've been more elegant😛
