i'm with Naj, RNJ died Thursday and i've no wish to see this irresponsible idiot, gambling away his Kingdom.
This is the same King who cried buckets over an attention seeking Ammi in the dargha!.🤢

Actually, even on the dargah scene, RNJ came across as an insecure king. He has always aspired to be the best...and fallen short.

Like Naj said, he had problems before...not that it excused him.

RNJ behaving recklessly...This is just a one time behaviour..The guy is loosening up..the pain of losing Gayatri's trust in him...I liked the way they played that bit. He was firm, and not angry..told G as much. He knows he would have won the duel either way...Here interference annoyed him. The man needed some relaxation after that, and he found some companionship with Avdesh.

Oh yeah. The slumming is already done...They could have that again if the show lives to see 300 plus.

Actually we cannot blame the CVs, Sim. They are getting the TRPs. So long as they are able to hold the audience's attention, we cannot ask them to mend their ways. The day the TRPs drop is when we can slam them. It is not fair otherwise...esp when DD is talking about 1000 episodes and Sid about adding more zeroes to his bank balance.😆

Bert,

Sid is currently the only reason I am watching the show too...the one and only..I wouldn't watch such a badly put together show for only the dialogues and some good looking people and stuff...

Sid continues to delight me in every episode...and I can feel the excitement in the actor...so long as that is kept alive, like I have been parroting all over the place- I will call the show worth the time I invest in it.

Actually, Gayatri is pretty much monotonous. The good thing about RNJ having ups and downs and even too many downs, is that Sid gets to play a variety of emotions. It is good for him and us..at least to me...I enjoy watching a good actor explore himself.😳 That way, I would say the show actually revolves around RNJ...the day they make him monotonous, the show will lose its sheen and the actor will start feeling bored. Sid knows the rules of the game well. Every maker aims for 1000 epis...To sustain that dream, they need the trps. They needed all these tracks to steal the limelight away from the competing shows, and they have managed that as of now. This too shall pass...😉...and we will get interesting tracks amidst the rubbish here and there. 😆

@soup- RNj was insecure @dargah too but he was repenting and there was no way a man who felt so guilty over dereliction of his Kingly duties & was moved by his people's plight that much would gamble away his inheritance, for which his forefathers shed blood.

Unconvincing and I couldn't help think of how a similar twist of the hero staking everything in his arrogance was shown in Madhubala.
RK was in character, his arrogant self & he was right in his own way too, when he told the producers to ****off and staked everything he had to produce his own movie. He was in character and Madhu supported him then too.
It was an interesting watch.

anyway, I'll be back only after Avdesh's ouster, which, i guess will be equally painful to watch with the inappropriate Tum mere ho tune blasting and the missing payal in the background.😆

the way they are getting TRP is not sustainable, IMAO.

I am wondering...why did they even come back...they should have just taken the train to Darjeeling...!

Well, RNj has lost Amerkot fair and square...so what if it is not a duel of swords...but a battle of the dice...

Even if he had lost the earlier sword fight, he would have lost Amerkot...!

why did they not just let him lose the duel? What has the additional drama of Avdesh pretending to be a friend etc really brought to the show? Apart from showing up RNJ as a fool for having trusted Avdesh even after every thing?

But these are logical questions...and the creatives hardly think logically..!

That is what i was thinking! They should have just tried again 😆

But yes good questions, but they wanted Avdesh to enter the palace somehow. But i dont think it matters much. They are always stuck to Ameerkot somehow.

And Gayatri doesn't like it when Ranaji just gives up sometimes; like the Darjeeling trip idea.
Thus now this game.. She will probably get royally pissed and try to get Ameerkot back herself.

Its not what i hope because its time Ranaji did something surprising.

Sim,
The only cringe worthy scene last week for me was G hugging Avdesh...I was really angry with that...But G- RNJ interactions thereafter was interesting to watch.

As for TRPs, the viewer has no other alternative. YRK's 2.4 TRP has always stayed with them. Swaragini seems to be getting affected more...ETR has lured back the viewers QH slot had lost slowly...it is unlikely they can make it more interesting than ETR after this. Bahut pheeka dikh reha hai- drama, romance, everything. One of the leads is threatening to quit due to neg story line too.😉

What RK did out of arrogance, RNJ is doing out of stupidity...thats all I can say right now.

The OLV suggested that RNJ was about to leave, just like he tried to avoid the duel..he was forced to come back when Avdesh called him a darpok Rajput.

Chick..been watching Yeh rishta for the last three days to draw comparisons...can't ever bring myself to watch swarangini...at least Yeh Rishta I did watch at one point in time before giving up...and it is not steeped in negativity...

I think Yeh RIstha has hit the saturation mark...like you said probably the old viewers are sticking around...having said that. they have picked up in the last two weeks because they also played a fake death track for the wohu there...and she is going blind soon...what melodrama...but possibly TRP friendly?

I doubt it will attract new viewers...but those who left the show might go back to check out their fave wohu going blind?

But then, you have Mahabharat going here which is equally strong I suppose...and with the other competitor falling short, I assume it is good days ahead for ETR2 on the TRP charts...!

Sure is 😉

Now that Avdesh have to worry about Ameerkot waasi's for sometime, RM is free to engage her self in some other stuff 😆 If only Yashooda was around

Hola all, logged in after a long time. I have yet to catch up on the posts and episodes from almost last two weeks. But I am guessing RaGa and story butchering has continued as per the desi soap tradition and for TRPs😆
