The problem with today episode is not that rana does not trust Gayatri, i think it is denial, he choose to believe that she is unstable, instead of believing that his grandmother could harm him, rarely do we want believe the people we love and trust would harm us. just my POV i could be wrong.

As for BRM she is overconfident and this will be her down fall, with sona revelation i think the seeds of doubt will be take root.
