Somebody give this man an award!. He deserves it.!

Thank u for the Saam, Daam, Dand and Bhed strategies, I read the article from the link u gave me. Interesting actually!

waise I like ur deep process of thinking, it's not shallow, u think beyond what is shown and try to explain it, and I like your love for symbolism, I read a post of you and Shruti
I also like symbolism but when writers mean it and stick to it (unlike QH where symbolism at the end of it means nothing since they let evil win anyways!!), in IPKKND there was symbolism that, no matter what, leads will be together, heroine was supposed to get engaged to another man and the mohrat was about to finish and they were waiting for her, at that time actually the lead was bandaging her finger (engagement ring!) so though events seem to be against leads, destiny seems to be with them! it's just an example obviously symbolism can cover plenty of things, about good winning over evil! or which direction would things go!

@Arshifan: Love this post and also Sim's interpretation of the scene using Chanakya's tenets. Just PERFECT👏. Normally, I love Gul's shows because they are always replete with symbolism/foreshadowing/placement of props to set up a scene, even if I deride her so much. QH too had its own set of symbolisms which the show used to diligently follow until she went crazy to prolong it and the show went haywire as a result. There was just no looking back...at least in S1.
Ps: Do you have a tumblr page where you share all your creations?

Thanks Naj.😃
Glad you enjoyed the article.

I'm a sucker for symbolism and love it when they use it effectively in shows.
It's like peeling of another layer in communication and I like the thrill of decoding and see what's underneath.

For e.g, I knew, some sort of SR between NaNa is looming when they showed them feeding each other cake & that sent me into panic mode😆

I remember the bandage scene from IPKND, QH just trash everything for twists .

Appreciate ETR2 guys, they are sticking to what they foreshadow using symbols so far and hope they do till the end.

QH was good during the days of Asad and Zoya, actually even story was gripping, but making of Tanveer a superpowerful vamp who can do anything and prolong it that was a bad move!

Four lions are good with romance, they should stick to it, even though QH was good even drama wise in the first season and even second and third there were so nice elements of suspense, but they didn't know where to draw the lines, avoid distasteful things and keep the essence of the love story the way they did in IPKKND and Geet

@Bold same pinch, it gives more depth to things, it also reflects good writing! I hope ETR2 team does make things appealing to us even when trying to make a balance and cater to other types of audience (for TRPs)!

Shabha Mumtaz's Ek boond Ishq on LOK was a good show with lot of symbolism, till they took the leap. I think it''s on hotstar. you might like it, if you've not watched.

I heard about it, it had a unique concept! heroine getting married to a prisoner! and the villain was a hermaphrodite right?!

yeah, the villain was played by a very talented actor and was a delight to watch. the leads had great chemistry. You can watch till the leap, & just prior they lost the plot.
The hero Viraf was supposed to replace Barun in IPKND.

True that. QH had a great drama quotient...with nary a dull moment in the first 8 months even with the third wheel and her atrocious acting notwithstanding. IPK and GHSP escaped the wrath of some serious butchering from Gul😆 BTW, I am so excited for Nov 30th
