true agree with you, the mask made by clay maker potterer during 1940's era, the story is ludicrous. I was hoping they would make the cloaked all in black woman be his scarred first wife appear on Karwa Chauth as scarred as she is disfigured everything for halloween and stop Ranaji feeding Gayatri, yes it would be scary and would make Gayatri not his wife, make Sulakshana a baddy and audiences might feel bad for the baddy if she was to die in the cuffaffle but still I would rather they did that then the this imposter route. But it seems such a useless storyline now.

True. Never look for logic in Indian soaps. I am watching only for drashti like many others. Otherwise I have quit Indian soaps. Only finite ones I would not mind. I've switched to Pakistani dramas instead
