There has been a lot of fuss about the upcoming track where reportedly Ranaji is going to slap Gayatri...there has been a long discussion about it among the fans and a lot of people seem not to be liking it and bashing Ranaji. ..
But remember the time when Gayatri slapped Ranaji...nobody(among the fans) reacted to that because that came with a genuine reason. .and maybe because it came from a woman to man...
This time when its Ranaji who is going to slap Gayatri a wave of anger found its way...one reason could be because this time its a man hitting a woman. ..but talking of equality...why not if this too comes with a justified reason.
Well the rumoured reason is that Gayatri had accused BRM... someone who Ranaji respects a lot...who supposedly is a 70-80 years old respectful woman. .. somebody he has grown in front of...and that somebody is his grandparent(although step)
And his relationship with Gayatri is hardly a month or two old...yes trust in a relationship is important but when it comes to ones blood relations no one would stand such charges against them unless they have a history like that...even you won't

You have a valid argument here but as fans of RAGA and esp DD they will always be tad bit possessive of her. Yes gayu slapped ranaji ji but because he was falsely accusing her of a crime she had never committed. However in this case, gayu is speaking the truth and her intention was only to keep ranaji safe from BRM's hidden attacks. Yes, her approach was wrong, she forgot that rana ji has blind trust on BRM but lets not forget that gayu trusted ranaji the same, thats why she went upto him first instead of confronting to RM or anyone else.

But Ranaji till now does not know the truth. ...and I'm sure he would apologise when he'd come to know that..but bashing him like if he is acting like an idiot or a zombie or something is wrong...

From Ranas point of view his anger is justified and yes the type of culture we live in even now is quick to condemn a man when he lays hand on a lady so thats just the way it is.
She did slap him last time so its even😆. i'm not going to get into too much of a debate anymore and just enjoy the drama keeping in mind its drama after all.

Good point. Thanx for the heads up now I will not react crazily knowing that rana ji also went through the same gesture.
Can I ask u an unrelated question to slapping ;) ... Did rana ji ever read gayatri's letter? How did he have after the bullet thing just had a quick change of hearts?

No he had not read the letter. ..because of a guilt the he had wrong by living in the past with the memories of his late wife. .and that Gayatri truly loves him..and he had misunderstood her

I'm sorry but i don't agree however i understand were your coming from. Frankly speaking the two situations are gravely different:

1. Firstly Gayathri slapped him for he attacked her character, no women would tolerate that. He stepped over the boundary. Yes maybe she could have retrained herself from slapping him but she has been taking in all that nonsense from him, so the women was bound to be emotionally drained. I actually liked that, sorry.

2. Him slapping her is completely different, he may be a man but he must not forget his the KING. And Kings don't go around slapping their queen, he might be in a situation here but again it's Gayathri who's suffering. It can't be easy knowing that you're the second women. As for Gayathri attacking his grandma well, fair point there. But still that doesn't mean he slaps her, he could have told her to shut it.

As a fan I see it this way, Gayathri is tolerating way more than Ranaji hence Ranaji should be more tolerate. Plus female are more emotionally weak, since we think from the heart.

As for equality sorry, it doesn't fit here. I mean come on, a men can do more physical damage than a women. I'm not saying what's wrong shouldn't be punished but a man should never raise his hands, period. For me equality doesn't come into play, maybe it's the inner female in me speaking but I don't feel this slap is justified.

RGD was provoked too much and she had to make a point o him when he went on & on.

From spoilers it seems RNJ just lost it w.o trying to rein her in or ask her for explanation. He is a King.He is trained to be a King, that means not taking emotional decisions and going around slapping anyone who raises a point he doesn't agree with.

He can't just beat her to submission. She made a serious allegations against BRM, that has larger implications for his debt ridden Kingdom and he shuts her up by a slap?🤢

He failed as a husband and a King. As a husband he should have stopped his wife before she screwed her relations with her super Saas.
