😊 Moved on to 'Pyar ko ho jaane do'. Didn't even realise that I had to switch channels for watching ETR2. 😃 I had decided to stay away for some time and the new soap is worth it. Spy in the Indian sub continent with a pseudonym for 4 years, giving out the country's defense secrets. Great story. Lets see how this plays out! Iqbal Khan plays the male lead with so much ease! 👏

Thought it better than RajaRani and 'Woh' and now with this new repulsive track of getting Swarnalekha in more trouble...worth a miss. 😡

This is a disappointing track. So let me start off by stating the low points:

Sulakshana - I don't know why they have to try and make Sula cute. She cannot do it. She was supposed to be the opposite of Gayatri, elegant with years of royal breeding, classy. That little incident with Ranaji recalling her superstition about bumping heads, was so off for me! leave the cute act to G, even it is the 100th repeat of Geet, it is still enjoyable😆. Seriously, they have to show us the difference between Sula and Gayatri, as probably BRM sees them - commoner versus Royal.
Ranaji jumped out of the window to break G's fast, he ran out of the room when he saw Sula outside G's room!! I mean, he is the King. for heaven's sake. Give him some dignity, CVs!
I wish they would establish a context for their actions. Getting someone else to impregnate a woman to beget an heir is as old as the Mahabharat. But establish that setting, context through meaningful dialogues, not through random cootchie cooing of the Kunwars!! It dilutes the drama quotient. Am not going to comment on spoilers, they may not turn out exactly how they say it would.
I had wanted Gayatri and Swarna to get together to fight this antiquated tradition, but looks like they are parallel tracks. I would imagine both the ladies being strong and mahaan and fighting for their rights would be a TRP track?? 😆. CVs, do something 'different'. 😡

Semi high points😆, given that the track itself is meh:

Ranaji's and G's scene- it was beautiful. Does Ranaji realise that he has a communication with G, that goes way beyond his physical attraction towards her? This is something I noticed, way before their marriage, during their accidental meeting at the temple, when he gave her Sula's bangle. he spoke so much about his state of mind, life, without knowing her. Again, yesterday, he was able to tell her exactly what he was going through, without hiding his innermost thoughts. Very rare for a desi TV couple. Sid was very good
Gayatri's expressions...understanding his situation, but extremely heavy hearted, comprehending that she stands to lose the most, if the situation does'nt sort itself. But her love for him is so great, that she gives him a hearing, and her support. Kudos to DD, for bringing out so many expressions in that one scene. She did'nt need dialogues, that one line, stop talking and give me water was enough.

They could have a winner only if they show RAGA 'S angst. Ranaji's increasing feelings towards G, his leaning towards her, even as he grapples with the truth that this woman may well be his first wife. And of course, Sula eventually out of the picture. My guess is she will not go without a fight. Whereas G is ready to give him that space, to her own disadvantage.

They have all the elements required, but unfortunately I don't think they have my faith, that they will use them effectively. Surprise me, ETR creative team!

Besides, I thought this was about political intrigue...if it is going to be about yo-yoing between wives, I am out...!

RNJ is committed in heart, mind and soul...

Sid was superlative...to make a woman sympathize with a man caught between two wives is not easy...because you are already naturally prejudiced thanks to your gender...

But he made you feel really sorry for RNJ...I did not find his getting up and rushing after Sulakshana odd...how does he let her walk away when there is an element of truth in this matter...if she is indeed her, will he ever be able to forgive himself for letting her walk away at a time when she is mentally unstable...

RNJ is too righteous a man for that...that is his strength and weakness too,,,!

DD was wonderful too...it is so good to see her do emotional...am not particularly a fan of cute...give me angst any day!

So, is Sulakshana faking her memory loss,,,or is she a complete fake herself?

The jury is out on Sulakshana...at least I would think so...

I found her body language and expressions confusing at times...is it about feeling perplexed about what she is seeing.;...or feeling vexed and angry that despite her best efforts, the man has run back to Gayathri..?

I am really not sure...

I was actually OK with yesterdays episode.. but I am confused witht he precap.. why does Gayatri lie to Sula.. even if she tells her she a wife of her husbands friend.. then what is she doing with Ranaji.. and what about all servants calling her also Raniji.. How stupid it is.. Kya CVS ekdum se logic ko matlab dimag se hatta hi dete hai kyaa?? What nonsense..I just could not take it...

For Gaya it's simple. Rana is disturbed and confused and feeling guilty after seeing sona. She sees his pain and confused and perturbed sona.

RNJ poured his heart out to her and she understands his angst. What if she indeed is sona? Or not?

Sona will threaten to walk away and they would not know the truth if they let her and they would never have peace.

Considering that sona is supposedly frail Gaya thinks she shouldn't burden her more maybe. And give a breather to rana to try and find the truth.

In thus process she is hurting herself but for her rana is important. Similarly this is going to lead his realization as to past can only be past and hherehas moved on. Even if it indeed is sona he lives and breathes only for Gaya.

One thing I don't understand is..sona walking around, stumbled upon their room, saw them feeding each other. Even if she doesn't know about KC how could a woman be blind enough not to see the love?

I loved the way they both sat down on the floor and had that beautiful open heartfelt conversation.

I want the cvs to give us moments like this stolen away from the sight of sona. Please don't insert her everywhere and make her break more statues.

So I was not so off mark in judging the expressions of the actress as shifty...!

I wasn't sure I was reading her right...because the actress displays rather confusing expressions..

Raga are so adorable and Sid and Drashti play them so well, that it almost makes sitting through the rest of the crap worth it...well almost.

I hope they have something good planned with the Sula track, not sure how much more of her, the actress as well as the character, I can take. And please can she try not to do cute, that was one pathetic scene.
