Shwets, where was the scope to improvise? He would have had to write an entire new scene?

They had no business rushing that scene that way. You need to set up emotions. I mean I would cringe if even De Niro or Al Pacino broke down and cried when I was not even convinced that they were in that state of mind! Even the world's best actors cannot convince you if there is no flow to the emotion! It was way too staccato!

Eye shut no tears ...I mean really .... Come on ...He is an stage actor could have improvised... defending is fine, but he has to take some of the burden ...sure chap pals coming my way 😆

I would really like to know what Sid's brief would've been. Am sure it was something like this...

Director - Sid...you swing the axe a couple of times...wait for DD to get to her mark...and then speak your lines...start crying and fall into her arms...

Sid - Sir...but I don't think I am ready...

Director - What do you mean? You are in costume and make up seems to be fine..!

Sid - Sir...I meant to say ...is Rana ji ready for this?

Director - You are ready...that means Rana ji is too..

Sid - Sir...I mean have we set it up enough to warrant this breakdown...I mean..don't we need to build this up more...and why would I cry in Gayathri's arms..

Director - Because the channel wants you to..the audience wants you to...TRPs want you to...now break down and cry...

Sid - But Sir...

Director - Its 11 hours and 45 minutes...have to wrap this scene in 15 minutes...stop asking effing questions and just cry...!

Sid- I doubt it would be convincing, Sir..

Director - How does that matter...? Just effing cry, man!

And so Sid cried!

You had a problem because you didn't see tears...I would have found them fake anyway...it was a scene that simply did not work for me...! Was not even thinking of tears...was wondering why he even broke down like that...!

If I were in his place, I would've improvised by running the hell out of there 😆

Hi guys,

Came home early today...need to work on the business plan...but couldn't stop from watching the episode...

The crying scene worked for me...the context was there ...! Haven't checked all the posts...but what I am reading indicates ...you are not too happy with the scene...?????

Will make a post later ...right now need to work on the plan...Shwets...doing any collages today??!

Yes Chick...I see it now...and if that is the route they are taking, more power to them 👏

Maybe it was the dargah...if it had been a math, the reference would've been very clear!
