Great post lovely collages. Will be back later with more thoughts!

The precap: only very exceptional TV male actors can cry convincingly on TV. Best to just avoid these scenes.

S, but thats where they fail as writers..there shouldn't be a need to compromise one character to redeem other..they can show Gayatri wanting to help him clear the debt but in a more reasonable way

@red: true that..
One actor who did it well was Kunal Karan kapoor in na bole tum

SK wasn't too bad in the precap in my opinion..was just responding to grumpy that very few male actors cry convincingly..

Hope the entire breakdown sequence is convincing though..in terms of writing and acting

Certainly could have been done better i agree. But it was not reasonable because her state of mind was more of a child with a tantrum. It was a desperate move imo. In a way she and Ranaji are alike also. Compare that to Rajmata who is always calm and collected. Its a work in progress.

@-Sush- : Its 730 in the morning here and this weekend would be full on Garba and Dandiya Raas...I liked your post. 😃 The little girl was the only saving grace in an otherwise predicable episode, thou some scenes had their moments too!

"Tadap tadap ke dil se, yeh aah nakalti rahi, mujhko saza di pyaar ki,
Aisa kya gunaah kiya, jo lut gaye, haan lut gaye,
Haan lut gaye hum Teri mohabbat mein..."

Somebody from the ETR2 team is a die-hard fan of Mr Bhansali. 😃 So Gayatri has donned the role of Ajay Devgan and Ash mixed together. She loves Rana Deo to death and is also dying for him. Poor Rana Deo!

The opening scene was poignant. But the scene after, with the King in a blue turtle neck sweater looked hurried. There was lack of continuity. 😕 Gayatri was over-enthusiastic, over-hyper, over-dramatic, over-zealous and finally it paid off- she fainted! 🤣 Effect of medications or snake poison? Yashodha's explanation - was this also pre-planned? 😲 The saving grace of the Dargah scene was the song. 😊 Does nobody recognize the King? In todays world, its common to get exclusive Darshan for celebrities/politicians. Why the need to be treated like a common man who has an unconscious wife in his arms? Not at all convincing!

Lastly, was Gayatri really unconscious or did I feel some movement twice? First, when she had draped her arms around him, did she try to get closer? Secondly, when he goes to lift her (post magical powder administered to her), did Gayatri volunteer and put her hand up to be carried by Rana Deo? Or did my eyes deceive me?

The breakdown scene is on next week. I felt the male lead hasn't cried in real life!! It was too funny.🤣
Lets wait for the entire scene to be played out. I hope its better than this precap...

Excellent collages by Shwets. Brings the episode alive.

Sush,
I am totally with U.

This is an episode I should have followed through Shwets collages...because the episode did not evoke the same feelings in me.
The biggest disconnect was like you said- no proper build up. It was stupid...how the Rani suddenly acted crazy and then went into coma.😕 At least the doctor could have said that the poison was acting now...she could have had a bleeding nose and the wounds could have been soaked..hey, just an extra dialogue and more paint would have done wonders to the scene.😕

Nilanjana ji, If U really have the time to go through this forum, after you have tweeted about RaGa kisses...please do pay attention to the script. Unless you want to cater to a crowd that goes ding dong over chemistry scenes only.🤢

I am sorely reminded of the previous show I watched..what with the internet fans pushing their demands on and misleading the creatives...and that dumb dialogue about Raniji's mental haalat being so naazuk.🤢 Please spare me!

What I loved is the morning after scene...even the cliched part. It was too sweet.👏

That kid in the dargah- sweet- but reminded me of Bajrangi Bhaijaan.😆 I think it was supposed to.

The whole dargah scene- I loved the way he kept checking on her as he washed his hands.😳

The baba was OK. Didn't mind the dialogues.
The flying chaadar...I guess I have seen too many dargah and chaadar scenes in my previous show - it is painful to be reminded that this show would most probably end the same way too.

Precap- Now, this is where I wonder if I should still stick around...because it looks very rushed and when that happens, I know disaster is around the corner. No harm in waiting and seeing where they are going, I guess.

I liked the fact that RNJ was regretting his actions for the past 6 years. Hum apne pyar mein itne andhe ho gaye ki...WHAT?...😆..That is the million dollar Q. Did he confess to her? If so, we have an ordinary tale about teh trial sof a king and queen awaiting us.

But in a sense I loved the precap because the Baba had said that this would be a time of reflection for him...and he seems to have hit the nail on the head. He realises he should not have forgotten his kingly (Husbandly???) duties in his pyaar ka andhaapan...it is a CRIME to him now. I appreciate that sentiment- so long as what follows is written well too.

I won't say I am disappointed with this epi because I know what hard work goes into it. They had jungle and dargah in the same week. Plus DD was sick. These scenes will usually require shooting late into the nights...so, I hope the rest of the show gives us the quality we know they are capable of. 👍🏼

GD/ GN.🤗

Hmmm..when provoked, Raniji goes around cleaning...and RNJ cuts wood. Such a healthy N productive way to vent out your feelings.😉😆
