Its a nice thought but I doubt it would be that.. i think its a combination of things.. maybe he realizes how neglectful he has been to everything, his family, his people and his responsibility just because of his former wife passing away.

doubt he is talking about G and his lost love, that would be another shocker & he wouldn't want to upset her in her delicate condition.

He was so lost in his love his grief had taken over he did not see anyone else, now in this debt he is feeling the pressure of it, mistakes have been made he now has to rectify them the pressure of being Rana, he left but the sorrow was still with him for him it is like yesterday not years

When my father passed away i was a rock to my family i did not have time to grieve, when i left i broke, i live in another country , so when i went back everyone was getting on with their lives and i was still grieving i wanted to leave asap i found it hard to stay. I can understand Ranaji now
