I really like it that Sid is taking it one degree of separation at a time. Well played!

There was that one fleeting moment of something extra on his face, when she told him he had lost all rights over her because of what he had done the previous night! It was so fleeting but so damning it was in what it revealed. What made him lose his composure even for a second was when she said he had lost her! The warrior was unfazed by cliff rescues and snake bites but the thought that he had lost her forever because of his own stupidity brought out that flicker on his face!

Again, liked the way he took charge when he realized that she had been injured! And the subsequent discovery of the snake bite! His "Haath chodiye, Rani ji" was masterful and yet subtle. In that one phrase he conveyed what he wanted to and shut her up!

I liked that they didn't brush aside G's mistake of venturing out to see Wilkie in the middle of the night. I liked G's comeback when she told RNJ that he had been taken in by Wilkie's guile just as much as she had! I liked the expression of discomfiture on RNJ's face before he gruffly brushed it aside. Cute that was!

RM is a super cool woman, I say. She is a master in the art of political craft but she also understands human psychology very well! She knows her son is vulnerable to G at the moment, be it out of guilt, and she wants to push him when he is weak! There were dangers involved but they were calculated and besides that is her fitrat. If we are talking of putting G to danger, let us not forget that RNJ was right next to her. The bullet could have gone off course and hit him as well. RM still took that risk but didn't stop there! She made sure it paid off by leaving the palace with Swarna in tow, leaving RNJ with no option but to tend to his injured damsel himself!

I liked the King telling the doctor he owed him no explanations and that his Queen had to be saved at any cost and that was all that mattered! I liked the King accepting to care for his Queen and offering the royalty's prestige as an excuse. How many more excuses is he going to dredge up and for how much longer 😆

The smart king was back in action when he asked Yashodha about the doctor's presence at the palace. But Yashodha has been trained by a master after all! She managed to wriggle out without furthering his suspicions!

Kunwar Chacha and Chachi are kind of cute. If they are not served in overdose, they do add to the meal! Yesterday, they were good fun!

And then of course, the almost pillow smothering and then the pillow fight! Nothing much to be added about the lady in black! She remains a mystery but she is definitely not Swarna. So one suspect off the list!

The doctor already set the tone when he claimed G's physical and mental state was delicate. So we wouldn't turn our noses up on queens throwing pillows at their Kings, and in the 1940s.

G was cute like always with her pouts. But RNJ's discomfiture was a treat to watch. For once, he looked like a man who had no clue what to do!

I am liking the slow and steady progress on RNJ! Don't rush it, creatives! It needs to simmer for long enough before it comes to boil. Don't rush in with any tadka in between!

^^ things I liked about yesterday's episode.

I have to admit that last night's episode despite all the logic ki vaat totally reeled me back in😳

I loved RaGA and loved SK and DD.

Bertie that expression on his face when she told me he lost all rights on her, actually there have other times too that I had to rewind and watch for his expressions. Perhaps if camera angle was different, or stayed on SK a tad longer... the darn flashing light they often use to dramatize also doesnt help.
It would be great if DD works a bit on her pronunciation. She gets some words wrong and it really stands out atleast for me, specially since this is a period drama and Gayu's is supposed to be comfortable with hindi. Yesterday it was pavitrata. She almost always get saazish wrong. She had mentioned in some interview she might have issues with language and so is not keen to do mythos.
@ Red- slow but not too slow. Tiwariji pranaam😃 Zee is quite notorious for dragging, delaying the self realization of feelings then rushing the confession without proper build up or even self acceptance when they need TRPs. Its a total mood kill.

In a rush, might add more later.

I hope she remains dead but her death is a mystery. The viewers don't know why she died, why she was driving etc.

If the CVs can learn from someone else's failures, they should look at HS and know.

A sauten angle will not work in this story...ek raja ek rani...doosri mar gayi hai...even if they want her as a vamp, she'd be most deadly as a dead one.👏 If they adapt Rebecca here, it'd be a first in Indian telly...and something different to watch.😉

G- i don't think anybody is interested in Sona. THere was no proper buildup to taht character for viewers to care for what happened to her.I for one am happy she is dead😆

People could n't take few minutes of her FBs in the early episodes and IMO, they changed the angle, after RNJ said his non-acceptance has nothing to do with Sona.

I hope they won't resurrect her at this point, they'll loose whatever they've gained so far.

I think, they can have RGD crack the mystery of Sona's death and RNj can have his last cry over his dead wife in his current wife's arms/lap & move on to avenge her death.

The shift of mood from Monday to yest was kind of anticlimactic..hoep they don't keep on shifting so (?) abruptly

The hanging from tree made me laugh..more so coz I had seen the offscreen pic with SK sitting on top of a box and DD hanging from a branch on its side 😆
That bit aside, RNJ wants Rani to come back, coz he knows the truth now but she didn't want to budge
Interesting to note that he didn't really apologize till she commented that she didn't expect a king to apologize..

RM is one twisted human
For her the end justifies the means
No matter how wrong the means are..she can go to great lengths to get what she wants..and Yashoda (she's back) seems to know that..

RNJ has presence of mind to question Yashoda regarding the doc ..but the woman is a smart thinker..gave a pretty decent explanation..
Doesn't RNJ find it weird that RM would leave before ascertaining that Gayatri was alright and back in palace..that should get his mind ticking..
I was almost expecting RNJ to tell Yashoda to take care of Gayatri..but he readily agreed to do it himself ..maybe it was his guilt talking

Gayatri seems to have the worse luck when it comes to her mental status..if not alcohol or serum, then its snake poison 😆
Cute banter between RaGa for a couple of episodes or on & off is fine, but I hope they don't show too much of it..dilutes the build up in my opinion

From the repeated references to Gayatri not understanding English, looks like there is going to be a track where she learns it in future..

Ami 🤗 so good to see posts longer than HHBB😆

Where did you see the pic of SK on a box? The editing could have been better in that scene from the time he pulls her up easily, both are on the cliff/box comfortably and then they are shown to fall back for the eyelock😆

But like I said showing a novel on screen takes great skill. You dont just show the story but you do justice to all the themes shown like identity crisis, love vs. hate, good vs. evil. You show complex emotions. Like I said I a long with many people are disappointed they really didn't explore much emotions after such a serious accusation yesterday. If you watch the pakistani humsafars and see how Asher and Kharat's emotions are explored after wrong allegation of an affair than yesterday came across quite cartoonish and child like IMHO.

I dont think Indian Show makers have the skill to show a novel on screen. Pakistani ones maybe but not Indian ones. ZGH was based off a novel.

Dude I am all up for her being dead but I have this nagging feeling that she will be back. They need proper closure of Sona's death. Its a nice angle to show that Gayatri finds out what really happened and help RNJ overcome this grief of losing his love. That would work wonders to the story!!

Actually I caught it on the second viewing too...I normally watch again before I write when I have a niggling feeling that I didn't get something on the first watch...I got that feeling about that part and watched it again..and lo behold!

If this were the big screen, it would not have been missed!

The problem here is that there is a need to sustain an emotion! A lot of it has to do with editing! I think Sid needs to pataofy the editor. Because his changeovers are very subtle! If they were dramatic, you would catch it the first time but this guy plays it subtly. So these kinds of shots need more of a sustain! The minute I caught it, I PM-ed Shwets asking for that specific frame to be captured. And yes, those horrendous light flashes spoil things big time too!

It is sad when an actor is blamed for a director or editor's lack of vision!

I know that I am seeing it because this is what I want to see..I feel RM knows things about Sula...she gave quite a bored look at the portrait in the white kurta scene. The woman is dead and gone- so she is keeping quiet.

I feel what will happen is...the maid will come back...and expose the circumstances that led to the death of Sula...RNJ had come back from somewhere that day...perhaps he had been out of station. They could make it look like it was actually no accident...and then RNJ and Gayatri would start looking for the murderer...and they would find that it was Sula herself...she committed suicide. Probably RM would give them the last missing link. It'd make an interesting track if they did it well...could last for 2 or 3 months. I am liking the fact that the ghoonghat lady is not unveiled..let the mystery deepen. (So long as this guy doesn't beg dead women to come back.🤢)

But that happened at the end of Humsafar...when the whole story had been about the alleged love affair. That is not the crux of the story here...this was just a twist..also, RNJ is not as passionately in love with G as Asher was with K. 😊
