The epi. continues from the scene yesterday where Nirmala is slurring Gayatri & her family's reputation & furious GovindSeth asking them out of his house at once. One of the man from Groom's party says Govind being the father of a daughter shouldnt be so proud and should have consulted us if he had any problem with this alliance. GovindSeth asks him, what did you do when these ppl were insinuating my daughter. Another man from Groom's side says its not easy to fix your ill-fated daughter's alliance. Govind says, my daughter isnt ill-fated; but would have become one had this alliance been fixed... The alliance isnt approved so dont call my daughter ill-fated. All the while Gayatri looks at her father with thankfulness & pride in her eyes. The man says, you are insulting us. GovindSeth asks them to just leave & not anger him more to save themselves more insult. The man curses that Govind & his daughter will regret this heavily & Gayatri will never get married. GovindSeth says, Till am alive, will see to my daughter's upkeep & give her all happiness. Damyanti passes out. Seths are shocked & rush to tend to her. Badi Bhabhi thinks, like mother like daughter; both are dramaqueens. Seeing this, the men from Groom's side gloat that Seth family is paying for their wrong deed. The family that doesnt obey society's norms & gives freedom to girls, suffers such consequences. They chide Shyam & Mukund that despite being elder to Gayatri they couldnt keep her within her limits. A woman has to stay confined within 4 walls of house only. Didnt they explain her, her limits? GovindSeth stews in rage. Shyam says, agreed that we made a mistake but we can rectify it. Nirmala snarls, Gayatri is showing attitude as if some King is going to marry her & curses her that she'll never get married. They all leave. GovindSeth asks Mukund to call the Doctor for Damyanti.

Rajmata is looking for Ranaji & comes to his room. She asks Yashoda about him & the latter informs that acco. to Royal guards, Ranaji left for somewhere even before the day dawned; But no idea where did he go. Rajmata looks tensed. She thinks, I know where could he go at this time.

Ranaji & Bhanu are in jungle riding on their horses. Bhanu asks Ranaji, where are we heading & he replies, am feeling stressed & whenever am stressed only one person can help me. Right now that person has gone for hunting & we are going to meet that person.

Damyanti comes back to consciousness. All feel relieved. She opens her eyes slowly but seeing Gayatri turns her face. Doctor asks how is she feeling now. Gayatri tries to hold her hand but she motions her not to & withdraws her hand. Gayatri gets teary-eyed & GovindSeth stunned. Doctor instructs about medication & leaves. Damyanti shuts Gayatri out & asks Mukund to tell her that she doesnt want to talk to her. Gayatri leaves from there crying. GovindSeth is visibly upset.

On the banks of river, an old lady is seen sitting in royal chair. she has 3 ferocious guard-dogs too. Sniffing some visitors (Ranaji & Bhanu) approaching, the dogs start chasing them. The lady checks who the visitors are & stands up in surprise. She whistles a sweet tune that calms the dogs away & they stop chasing the visitors & lead them to the lady. Bhanu is surprised seeing a tent there & asks Ranaji about it. Ranaji greets the lady & tells her, you're still the same Badi Rani Maa. She says, you too are still the same! Earlier also you used to flatter me & even today you do that! Earlier too you used to pay me surprise visits & today also you gave me surprise by visiting me here. Ranaji says, what to do when you arent visiting the palace. Badi Rani Maa says, Britishers dont allow ppl below 18 yrs age to drive the car hence I cant come to palace. Ranaji is very happy & touches her feet. Badi Rani Maa says, only Elders' feet should be touched; friends should be given hug & opens her arms to hug him. They both hug happily. Ranaji holds his ears & asks for punishment. Badi Rani Maa says, I feel embarrassed punishing the King of Ameerkot. Ranaji says, King of Ameerkot isnt that lucky that he could receive a punishment from you; only your grandson Indra is that lucky! The grandma-grandson duo get emotional & hug. Ranaji asks her howz she feeling now & she replies, feeling better now.

Gayatri is worried for her mother & asks the servant if she took medicines. Servant says, will go remind her right away. Gayatri overhears Badi Bhabhi telling her Bro that girls get married early & leave their parental home but Gayatri is settled here like banyan tree with deep & strong roots; she wont go anywhere. She is a huge burden on us; today Maa-Babuji is bearing this burden; tomorrow it'll be us. Champa says I'll tolerate the burden but what about my daughter Naveli? What if inspired by Gayatri, tomorrow she also demands to study, go out & enjoy her life? Badi Bhabhi rues, life is anyways not easy & with such burden how'll they be happy? Gayatri is standing in the door & listens to all this convo. Both Bros & Bhabhis are shocked to find here there.


Badi Bhabhi tells Gayatri, truth is always bitter & the truth is you didnt do right by rejecting Damodar. Gayatri asks do you really think I should marry that old man? Badi Bhabhi says, there you wont get happiness from your husband but will get husband's name & that's sufficient to live. Champa also supports her. Gayatri says, you consider girl as burden but a girl too has a heart, has dreams & feelings. Champa chides her that girls belonging to reputed families follow rules not their feelings. Both Bro. support their wives that they are elder to her & think only of her wellbeing. Gayatri says, so you think this marriage will ensure my welfare. Till now I believed that am daughter of this house; never knew when I became a burden here.


GovindSeth is trying to reason with Damyanti about Gayatri's future. He says, You're Gayatri's mother & still not understanding that Damodar is elder than me & wont give her any happiness. She says, am thinking so coz am her mother. Gayatri comes there & asks her parents if she is a burden on them. GovindSeth refutes. Damyanti recalls Bhabhis' insinuations when Gayatri got drunk & says, yes. You are a burden on us, on society & tomorrow you'll be a burden to your Bro-Bhabhis too. Girl doesnt have her own fate; before marriage her father decides her fate & after marriage her husband. Thats why women shouldnt go against their destiny & accept everything as God's will. GovindSeth tells Gayatri, you arent a burden for me. Badi Bhabhi says, till when Gayatri wont accept the truth? Truth is what MIL said. Mukund says, unlucky girls arent accepted even by their kins but we always loved you & pampered you. Shyam says, finding match for you is anyways difficult & you rejected this alliance. We looked after you all these years but you cant live here forever coz this house... "isnt mine", Gayatri completes. Badi Bhabhi says, yes, this isnt your house. Your sasural will be your house not maayka. Champa says, girl has to be Lakshmi of someone's house. Gayatri's parents are sad. Gayatri says, if a girl can be Lakshmi of someone's house then she can be Saraswati of her house too. Its written in her destiny as well. Badi Bhabhi asks what does she mean. She says, I wont become a burden on anyone but will stand on my own feet. The Seths are stunned.


Gayatri is writing a letter to Ranaji asking him how can she settle her future with someone else when he has captured her heart. Ranaji tells Badi Rani Maa, unfulfilled dreams cause pain but the dreams that shatter after being realized, cause more pain. Am living with that pain & now that pain has become so much a part of me that its impossible to share it with anyone else. Am destined to be a loner only.
