Today's episode was much more interesting and 'upbeat' than yesterday's. Liked it a lot more compared to yesterday.
Highlights:
* Sharda tells KaSak that Pallavi doesn't have much longer to live. Karan asks why Pallavi didn't say anything and Sharda says that a mother can't bear to see her children sad. Sharda reveals Pallavi's wish that they all come back. Sharda tries to convince Karan to come back, giving the ultimatum - that she is going to live here, but it's up to KaSak to decide for themselves.
* Dadi visits Pallavi. They share an emotional moment with Pallavi saying that Dadi was just as close to her as she was far from Dadi. She felt the closeness of Dadi's anger, etc. Dadi doesn't like this ill Pallavi (not a mean thing). Pallavi apologizes, but Dadi says that it was all Suresh's fault.
* KaSak decide to go talk to Shanaya. Shanaya drama continues with the same idiotic logic -- Sharda tricked Pallavi, etc. They just listen and then leave. Karan pauses at the door and stares at a sobbing Shanaya before leaving.
* KaSak visit Pallavi. Pallavi requests KaSak to stay too. She calls KaSak her son and DIL. Shanaya walks in. Pallavi asks if they won't fulfill her last wish. As Karan is about to answer, Shanaya interrupts by saying that KaSak must be happy that Pallavi is dying so they can return and take over. Karan says that Pallavi's illness is more important than whatever is going on, if Pallavi wants them to come back, they will.
* Karan brings his luggage into the house and bumps into Suresh. Suresh asks why he brought his luggage and Karan says that he came because Mom told him (not sure if this is Sharda or Karan calling Pallavi "Ma"). Suresh asks W*F is going on, Aarav and Chirag walk off. Dadi says that Pallavi invited them and leaves. Suresh says that its his house and everyone is trying to run it.
* Breakfast time! Suresh demands chai. Dadi tells Lata to get the chai.
* Latika brings up business with Suresh. Latika asks what to do with the clients. When Suresh says that Latika can't handle it, he'll take care of it himself. Latika flares up and tells her dad that he has done what he has done and bankrupted the company. She should be given a try and if not, he should just divide up and company and house and give each child their respective shares.
* Latika and Shanaya verbal war: Shanaya jumps in and says that ever since Pallavi has included them in her will, they have started looking at it. Latika tells Shanaya to watch her dirty tongue (mouth). Shanaya says that her tongue (mouth) isn't as dirty as Latika's head. Latika says that she put her entire life into the company and the dough that Shanaya is chilling with, the house, every inch of it is from the business. Shanaya retorts that they are also taking advantage of Pallavi's illness.
* Sharda steps in and scolds them both. This is when Suresh jumps in with his dirty mouth. He claims that Sharda may have left the house, but she still had greed / desire for the house. That's why she kept visiting it under the excuse of Dadi, then she saved the house from getting auctioned and made saving his business , and then she somehow managed to change the one lady who hated her -- Pallavi- and got her to put her in charge of the business. He says that she did this for the house and wealth. He can't believe that she could even do that. Everyone just stares and is quiet while Sharda goes into mental shock.
* Sharda walks out with her luggage, but Pallavi stops her. Pallavi says that she thought Sharda was strong, but she turned out to be pretty weak. She says that she is willing to leave her right because of some crap Suresh said. She says that we should teach him how to respect women and this can be done by staying in the house.
* Pallavi calls Latika and Shanaya into her room. Latika and Shanaya begin to argue before Pallavi puts an end to it. She wants Latika and Shanaya to go apologize to Sharda. Latika says that she hasn't done anything wrong, so why should she apologize to her? She goes as far as saying that Suresh was right too. Besides, nothing is new. Suresh always scolds Sharda for no apparent reason and she is pretty used to it, she isn't hurt. Saying that, both Latika and Shanaya walk out.
* Pallavi decides to have a conversation with Suresh to have him apologize to Sharda so as to set an example in front of the kids. Suresh wants to have nothing to do with it and instead says that if the kids don't respect Sharda, it's their problem not his. He is still butt hurt over handing over everything to Sharda. He leaves after saying that Sharda deserves such humiliation. Sakshi is seen listening to to the conversation.
PreCap: Pallavi and Sakshi are having a conversation. Sakshi says that when she first came to the house she felt bad about what was going on. She couldn't even say anything to her sasurji. Pallavi says not to worry, she has a plan. Sakshi smiles and says plan? what kinda plan? Pallavi smiles and says You'll find out. Sharda even knows about it. Tomorrow be ready. Sakshi says "Teek hain" and smiles and Pallavi returns the smile!!

Discussion:
Whew! That was a long bunch of highlights (I was writing this while watching the episode), but I think the episode deserved such a lengthy write up.
Suresh has grown even more arrogant and senile than before. It surprised me that no one said anything to him when he was talking like that to Sharda. Both KaSak had a shocked expression, but neither said anything. Even Dadi was silent. Shanaya was obviously smiling in the background. But wow .. for whatever Sharda has gone through after leaving the house, for whatever Sharda had said to Suresh when she came back to return his check, she really didn't say anything to him today. She basically reverted back to her timid old self.
Shanaya and Latika's arguing scenes were humorous and I'm beginning to grow on Shanaya's acting too. There are times when she properly portrays it, which is great to see.
One thing that seriously bothered me was why Karan decided to change his mind about coming back to the house. He was confused when Sharda told him, but immediately agreed when Pallavi asked him. I haven't watched any of the episodes last week (started from Wednesday), so I'm not sure if Karan knows that Pallavi is a good person or not or he is sympathetic to a dying person.
Tomorrow's episode seems to be pretty exciting. Can't wait to see what kind of plan is put into place.
