Before I start -- for those of you who didn't know -- there was 5 (FIVE) episodes last week (yes, there was an episode last friday!!). Hopefully the 5 episodes a week continues. I'll be including Friday's episode in my thoughts below
Overall, emotionally, it was a very well done episode(s). Actors were great and you could relate to them emotionally.
What I found were remarkable events:
- Suresh returning to the Modi house, and close to the end of today's episode, he wanted to sleep with Sharda again (in the same bed).

- The entire family silenced by Pallavi being the first wife. What I fail to understand is that the marriage certificate clearly mentioned "Ajmera" which is a false name. Thus, shouldn't Pallavi's life be the one without an identity? It's absurd how the CVs are basing everything on who got married first and who got married second when clearly one was married to the original, the other was married to an alias.
- Looks like Latika showed her place (as I knew!). She no longer cares for her dad and is on her mom's side! I just hope they don't ruin Latika's character in the future by returning to that "anti-mom's advancement in society' person.
- Karan leaving the house was kind of expected. But what I didn't expect per the precap was Sharda leaving with them too (which raises questions of where will they live? or what about Dadi? If Sharda leaves Dadi behind, it won't be a happy moment, especially since Dadi is no longer that old mean Dadi, she's now proud of Sharda and supports her sort of.
- Suresh's attitude is really disgusting. If he has severed his ties with Sharda, why does he keep running back to her? He admits that Pallavi is his first wife, yet he comes back to the house to sleep in the same bed as Sharda, he yells and screams at her, and above all, he bosses her around? I'm really hoping Suresh isn't part of the family in the future (ie. in the next track), I really don't want Suresh and Sharda to get back together (and at this point it's pointless because he loves only Pallavi).
- I found it funny how Suresh (as he was leaving Pallavi's house on Friday) said that he will bring back the proof because he knows that she can't live without him. It's funny because he didn't mention anything about himself not being able to live without her... very manipulative person.
- Pallavi is an idiot as is Sharda. Their individual worlds are falling apart yet both still seek Suresh (Sharda seems to have stopped wanting Suresh after realizing that she is the second wife). They want to take each other down so that they can each be with Suresh... as a guy -- it's a dream come true 😆, but as a human, it makes me sick 🤢
- Pallavi has called someone to Bombay ... could it be a lawyer? She doesn't seem like the person to have a boyfriend, hmm intriguing.
- Pallavi slaps Suresh. Best moment. Though I wish Sharda would get over it and just slap Suresh already.
- The kids (Karan, Sakshi, Latika) all try to cheer Sharda up by telling them that she is still a Modi ... which is pretty sad in my opinion. Here you have the mom finding out that she isn't really a Modi to begin with (per SonyLogic), yet she still is because of Sakshi, Latika, and Karan, and Dadi... that's the most depressing thing I've ever heard of. Instead of urging Sharda to realize that there isn't any importance in the Modi name and pushing her towards developing her own identity, they keep restraining her to the Modi name which is provided by Suresh... not very thoughtful.
Anyway to sum up:
Chances of 5 episodes a week now, Well done episode emotionally, but lacks quite a number of logical points that,. if addressed, would have made it 10x better.
