Ek Nayi Pehchaan 14 January 2014 Written Update

Episode begins with the guests leaving. Sakshi asks sharda to have food first but she says first she will clean the table. Sakshi says she would help her. Suresh and latika come inside and calls chirag. Suresh asks him if he has no respect towards the guests that he didn't come down despite calling so many times. He starts shedding tears and looks angrily at sharda. Suresh asks if he is ok? Chirag says how would he be fine when his reputation was at stake. Suresh is confused and asks what happened? Chirag says that mom had come to college to meet his principal. Everyone are shocked. He continues saying his mom spoiled his reputation at college. He says though it was his fault for failing in 2-3 subjects mom destroyed everything. He asks for suresh's support that he would work hard this time. He asks him to come to college and not send his mother. Suresh agrees but tells him that this time grades should be higher. He tells chirag that he should become a big businessman in the future. Suresh goes to sharda and asks her what was the reason for going to college when she knows everyone would speak in English? Sharda is crying but suresh doesn't stop and asks her why did she have to insult him? He also says that people would think how will even the student pass when his mother is an illiterate. Sakshi is about to say something while sharda stops her. Suresh continues saying why did she have to spoil her child's future. She asks her to learn something from her bahu. Sakshi is shocked. Suresh says sakshi handled the guests so wonderfully that they are finally ready to make a deal with them. Latika is angry and sakshi sees it and wonders why. Suresh says its waste of telling her now, that she didn't change all these years what will she change now. Sakshi is sad and angry and all the others leave. Sharda goes to her room and starts to cry. Sakshi comes there and asks her why was she quiet when everyone were blaming for no mistake. She says infact it was chirag's mistake but he blamed her. She says doing mistakes is bad but taking others blame is even bad. Sharda says she is speaking the truth but always one has to see the love behind everything. Sakshi says she didn't see any love in anybody but saw in her silence. Sharda says suresh was right, sakshi is very intelligent and sweet but sakshi says not to change the topic. Sharda says chirag is still young and he will learn everything. He also says he was afraid and that's why he called her to college. She says he was angry as she asked his principal to remove him from the college if he fails again. Sakshi says it doesn't seem so but sharda says it is like that and asks her to take rest as its getting late. She calls her and says its not "athithi devo blah blah " but its "athiti devo bhava" sakshi says she knows everything but she doesn't say anything. She comes and hugs and leaves. Sakshi talks to her friend about how a good person who loves and cares for others is not valued. She calls them for the maker sankranthi festival and puts the phone. She goes to the room and karan says he needs to say something. He says that it was a namesake marriage and all the act of wife and husband is in front of others but not when alone. Sakshi though shocked says that he spoke her heart. She says even she is not into caring and fasting for husband etc. karan is annoyed and tells that now everything is clear so he would sleep on bed. Sakshi says even she has no plans of leaving bed. He says if they would sleep on the same bed. She asks whats the big deal but asks him if he can control himself. He says hot girls look average for him and sakshi is already average. Sakshi keeps moving towards him and he keeps moving away. they have an eyelock and karan is sweating. Sakshi asks why is he sweating when AC is on. He fumbles and says he would sleep on the couch. Sakshi smiles.

Next day morning, everyone are ready to fly kites. Sakshi comes to sharda and asks her what she is doing? Sharda tells that she is making til laddu as today is maker sankranthi. She explains about it. and says from today it's a new beginning for everyone including her life. Sakshi asks where is he? Sharda teases who is that he? Sakshi blushes and says karan. Sharda smiles and says that he doesn't sleep for so long on sankranthi and infact he wakes up early to fly kites. Suresh comes there and tells sakshi that karan always wanted mornings to be extended till aftrernoon so that he can sleep till afternoon. He tell sakshi that she knows karan's sleeping pattern, she should make him go to office. Karan hears it. sakshi sees karan hearing it and she tells his dad that she wont try. Suresh is shocked and karan is happy. Sakshi promises them that she will make him go to office. Karan ia angry. Suresh is happy and leaves. Sharda tells sakshi to take food and juice for karan. Karan sees this and goes up and sakshi calls him. He tells her not to try sending him to office. Sakshi goes upstairs. Karan is with his friends and they ask why didn't she come in the first session of flying kites. Sakshi says no one called her. She says she would come now. Karan asks her to hold the maanjha as flying kites is difficult. Sakshi challenges that she would cut karan's kite and if she do so karan should go to office. Karan agrees. Episode ends on sakshi's determined face.

Precap: Karan taunts sakshi. karan and sakshi are flying the kites with girls on sakshi's team and boys on karan's team.
