predictable?

Im not sure why but I feel this show is a bit predictable? It is hard to say right at the start of the show, I know, but I have seen enough of these tv shows to have a good hunch about what I see.

Aside from a small inspiration of English Vinglish, where the housewife is uneducated and unappreciated, the show seems like a typical story line

Two strangers getting married, neither willing. Misunderstandings, love, breakups, leaps, children, love again...(sound familiar? ahem BALH)

I also find Poonam Dhillon a bit off cue at times...the first epi when they introduced her and a few other scenes...but she is a veteran actress so it could be sloppy direction. I don't doubt her acting skills.

I also like Poonams look off screen...they aged her for this show. I hope she gets a rocking makeover in the show.

Well these are my musings...hopefully its not predictable run of the mill Ekta type crap.
