PART 70

It has been a week and five days since raghav came to Delhi. Tomorrow the project will be finalised and the day after tomorrow he will go back to Mumbai. After the day's meeting, Raghav was driving back to his hotel. It was a pleasant evening. It was cloudy which gave signs that it will rain sooner or later. When he was driving, something caught his attention at the nearby park. A child was crying and struggling to get out of a man's hold. Raghav frowned as it looked suspicious. He immediately stopped his car and ran towards to that location.

Unknown to him a pair of eyes was following him as well.

R: " hey.. what are u doing? Leave the child.., he said.

Man: " hey mister.. go away.. mind ur own business.., the man replied while strengthening his grip around the boy.

Crowd gathered them. A lady came running while crying.

L: " oh my god.. please save my son.. please leave him.. u take his chain and everything but leave him..

The man turned out to be a thief.. He became nervous seeing a crowd.. He tried to escape the situation. But raghav successfully knocked him down and get hold of the child before handing him towards his mother. He was about to grab the thief but that thief caught someone from the crowd.. The person's face was covered with her duppata because of the mind.The thief held placed his arm around her neck indicating that he will strangle her if anyone try to catch him. Everyone gasped while raghav frowned.

Another breeze of wind made the dupatta to drop from her face. Everything became silent for him. He couldn't breath. His eyes never leaving the girls face.. He faced a variety of emotions at the same moment. However the girl looked scared. but there is glimpse of confusedness in her eyes. She looked at raghav's eyes like trying to figure out something. Those are the eyes she dreamt of. It still shows the same pain, love and emotions as she saw in her dream.

"AHHH!!, she hissed when the thief tighten his hold around her neck.

R: "Kal..kalpi.., he whispered..

The sound of police siren grabbed everyone's attention except raghav's and kelp's.

"Tara..., arjun's voice echoed that place but both their eyes never left each others.

Arjun pointed a gun towards the thief threatening him to leave her.

Thief: " i will kill her..

Arjun shot him on his legs making him fall down. Before falling down he pushed her making her head hit the stone on the ground.

R: " kalpi!!!, raghav ran towards her before arjun.

Arjun looked confused. he asked the constables to arrest the thief.

When he reached towards tara and raghav, he saw raghav holding her in his arms. She was unconscious..before Arjun could say anything,

R: " kalpi... kalpi.. baby.. oh my god blood.. blood.., he panicked while tears slipped from his eyes.

Arjun looked shocked.

Ar: " her head is bleeding.. i need to get her to hospital.., before he say anything,

Raghav took her in his arms and ran towards his car.Arjun followed him.

R: " ca.. can u pls drive? pls.. hurry.., he said panicking while placing her at the back seat and settling with her.

Arjun couldn't ask anything because his wife need to be in hospital right now.. so, he just agreed. all the while to the hospital, raghav caressed her face asking her to wake up.

R: " baby.. baby please... nothing will happen to u today.. don't worry.., his shirt was covered with her blood.

Hospital...

Arjun informed his mother. The doctor said she need an operation and that they will be guided by nurse about the formalities. Padma reached the hospital hurriedly. in the meantime,raghav called sammy.

R: " sam.. sam.. im scared.. pls.. pls come here..,he cried in phone.

S: " raghav.. what happened?, he asked worriedly.

R: " sammy.. kalpi.. accident.. pls...pls come.., he couldn't even make a proper sentence.

S: " Ok.. don't worry.. i will be there by the next available flight..

Arjun was comforting his mother.. Raghav leaned on the nearby wall before sliding down the wall..

P: " arjun.. who's that?, she questioned arjun.

Ar: "i don't know mom.. but he.. , before he could continue the nurse came there asking for the patient's relative.

Before arjun or parma could answer, raghav answered.

R: " yes?

N: " Before the operation, we need to fill up the form and need signature from the relatives.. what's her name?

R: " Kalpana Raghav Singhania..

Arjun and parma stood there shocked.

N: " and u r?

R: " Raghav Singhania.. Her HUSBAND.., he said and signed the formality

papers.

Padma held arjun's arm.

P: " what's happening arjun?

Ar: " i don't know mom..., saying so he went towards raghav.

Ar: " Excuse me.. who are u?

Raghav was not in the right senses. he looked at him puzzled.

Ar: " i mean.. how can u call urself as her husband? and her name kalpana?, he asked.

R: " yeah.. she.. she is my wife kalpana.., he said wiping the tears with the back of his hand.

Ar: " What? she.. she is tara..

Raghav took his wallet n showed him his and kalpi's wedding photo. Arjun stood there flabbergasted. before he could ask him further questions, raghav's phone rang. he excused himself while arjun walked towards parma.

Raghav told his family about what happened.

After two hours, sammy came there running.

R: " Raghav.. what happened?

Raghav pointed at the door of the operation theatre.

R: " i told u she is alive.., and he cried.

sammy kneeled down beside raghav and hugged him while he cried.

the doctor came out and announced that she is out of danger. but they can only meet her after she gained consciousness. after about 4 hours, the whole family was there.. the mehras, the singhanias, aj, pray, maya,sid.. In the meantime, arjun collected every possible information about Raghav Singhania.. and to his surprise whatever he told was true. but all he wished for right now is that the girl on the hospital bed is his tara not kalpana raghav singhania.

Raghav and his family were shocked to hear that from arjun and padma. But for raghav, he knew it. he knew that it is his love, his kalpi.

After another one hour, the nurse informed that they can see the patient. so, they left the confusion behind and went inside the room except raghav.. he was overwhelmed.

She slowly opened her eyes. the blurry images became clear. she looked at everyone. their faces reflected how much happy they are. She tightly closed her eyes as surge of memories flooded her mind.. she opened her eyes to find one man she loves dearly in her life... Abhimanyu Mehra. Tears started falling from her eyes.

K: " da... daddy.., her voice cracked while crying.

Arjun was broken. He left the room with his mother following. Raghav who was outside the room saw the. Arjun approached raghav.

Ar: " she.. she is ur kalpana.. not my tara.., he said while trying to hide his pain.

R: " im..im sorry.., he couldn't help but feel sorry for that guy.

Arjun sat on the bench consoling his mother who was crying.

Kalpi was crying in her daddy's arm.Abhimanyu mehra cried as well.. Kalpi told him how she was in coma and lost her memories. All hugged her and were so happy that she is alive.

AJ: " U know babydoll.. raghav said that he felt u r alive... but we never believed.. but, see now.. u r here...

Her eyes searched for him. her eyes stilled when they met his. he was standing near the door. shirt drenched in blood. Bloodshot eyes. That man was a man who endured pain for years. Her heart wrenched thinking the reason of his pain was her. all left them both alone.

K: " raghav.., her soft voice made another tear to drop from his eyes.

He walked towards her and sat at the side of the bed. They looked at each other with lots of pain and love without saying any words. Raghav just pulled her face near his and crushed his lips on hers. He kissed her pouring all the pain, love and anger that he felt all these years without her. He left her when to catch breath. he didn't say anything but looked down at his hands. Kalpi looked at him. She knew that this man must have felt like in hell without her. Her heart itself know that his love for her his greater that hers. she slowly raised her hand and caressed his stubbled cheek fondly.

K: " Raghav.. look at me..

He looked up at her. Tears were flowing continuously from his eyes. her heart pained.

K: " im sorry.., she said blaming herself for his pain.

R: " no... baby..., he hugged her indicating that nothing's her fault.

R: " i missed u so much.., he said still hugging

K: " I know.., she said caressing his head.

Raghav broke the hug.

R: " u know what? i felt u.. i really felt that u r alive.. but nobody was ready to believe me..

Kalpi smiled.

K: " U love me that much raghav... thats y... and i love u so much..

R: " i love u more...and don't u dare leave me again..., he said making her to chuckle.

suddenly she remembered something.

K: "Ragahv... Ridham?

R: " he is fine... he's in shimla with dish and her grandparents.. when we reach mumbai he will be there..

K: " does he miss me? does he know about? u guys told him about me? he.., before she could continue, raqhav held her face in his hands making her stop.

R: " He know everything about u.. we never stopped telling him about u.. he loves u... and he misses u..

Kalpana was overwhelmed and tears dropped from her eyes.

R: " hey.. sssh.. its ok.. its ok baby.., he hugged while trying to console her.

K: " why raghav? why us? why all these had to happen to us? why?, she cried bitterly.

R: " i don't why.. but i promise u.. nothing will separate us from now on.. i promise u..

Kalpi nodded her head. and they kissed again. their family smiled looking at their reunion through the mirror.
