18 years is a long time by any means. But it was especially long for Raghav Singhania who spent every second of every day for the past 18 years waiting. Waiting to come back to India. Waiting to meet his nemesis. Waiting to get his revenge. Waiting.

She has led a sheltered life under the protection of her father, Vitthal Jhadav and care of her brother, Pakhya Jhadav. But nobody had been able to fill the void left by Kamla Jhadav.

She was two years old when she fell into the bath tub in her house. She had almost drowned when her brother had rescued her. The doctors had revived her and she had searched for her mother frantically but Kamla was nowhere around.

She was five when she was supposed to go to her first picnic but her mother had forgotten about it and Kalpi stood waiting for her mother holding the balloons in her hands and her picnic bag on her shoulders.

She was ten when she won the running race at school. She stood on the first position with her trophy and looked around for her family. Her father and brother stood clapping but her mother was absent. The smile slid from Kalpi's face.

There were missed birthdays, missed special days, missed hugs and missed smiles. Distance between Kalpi and her mother increased over the years and only a miracle can bridge the gap between the two.
