PART 2- The next day, Kalpi marked out another day from her calender. One more day and then she would be off to Mysore. Her Aaji would be arriving in another one hour so she went to get ready. Her bathroom was under repair so she went to use the spare bathroom downstairs near the hall. There was a note on the Dining Table saying that her parents had gone to pick up her Aaji. She knew for a fact that her brother Kabir would be sleeping his ass off and Pakhya would be drooling all over his pillow. She laughed to herself and went to the spare bathroom. She could hear singing from inside. She got the voice to be of Pakhya. She brought her ear close to the door and listened. She heard."Baby Baby Ooowovuwovu.. Baby Baby Nooononono... I thought you'd always be miiiyiinnn..." She closed her mouth and started laughing to herself. She took her mobile phone and started recording the voice all the while laughing. The singing stopped after a while and she stopped recording and sat on a chair. Pakhya came out drying his hair and saw Kalpi..
Pakhya : So Kalpi, my Baby Sister.. You are going away tomorrow..
Kalpi : Yeah. Seems like I am..
Pakhya : Don't you worry Sis. I've asked my friend to keep an eye out for you so that no harm comes to you..
This made Kalpi snap. She wasn't a kid anymore and she hated being babied around and being over-protected.
Kalpi : Am not a kid anymore. I can take care of myself.
Pakhya : But the world is bad. And u are still small..
Kalpi : Shut up !! I am not little. I know how the outer world works, thanks to movies and TV shows for that. I certainly do not need any babying around..
Saying this. she went to the bathroom and banged the door closed leaving a bewildered yet amused Pakhya all by himself. When Kalpi came out of the bathroom, her Aaji had aldready arrived. She went to her grandmother and hugged her. HHer grandmother hugged her back and congratulated her.
Aaji : So Kalpu is leaving tomorrow..
Kalpi : Ya Aaji. I am.
Aaji : How do you feel ?
Kalpi : I feel excited. I am embarking on a new journey.
Aaji : All The Best to my darling grand-daughter.
Kalpi : Thankyou Aaji.
That night, there was a small send-off party for Kalpi where a small cake was cut and her brothers being as moronic as they are smeared the entire cake on her face leaving her in a fit of rage and mind-blasting temper. She inturn put honey beneath their pillows and the boys had to keep itching their heads the entire night 😆..
The next day, as Kalpi stoke out the last day from her calender she thought,"This is it !! Today is the day. Tonight, I embark my new journey." She went down and saw that her mother was listening to something Kabir and Pakhya were telling her. She looked attentive and curious. Kalpi thought,"If its something the boys are telling her, then it means trouble." She went to the living room and sat on the free couch..
Kalpi : Maa. What are these two idiots telling you ?
Neetu : Shh Kalpi. They are your brothers.
Kalpi : Yes.. I know. Ad brothers are idiots.
Pakhya : Well Lil Sis. Since you are leaving, we were just telling Maa about our friend who lives in Mysore.
Kabir : Yeah Kalpi. Its for your safetly, you know.
Kalpi : For the last time I am telling you. I do not need any safety measures. I am not a kid and I can take care of myself. So shut up both of you.
Neetu : But Kalpi...
Kalpi : Maa.. I told you na. I can take care of myself. I am not a kid anymore.. End Of Discussion...
That evening, it was a bit of a hurry. Last minute things were added into Kalpi's trunk and aashirwaads were taken. The cab came and Kalpi, Neetu and Sahil left in it. On the way, Kalpi took a last look at al those places she would miss for three months. At the Railway Station, she had an ice-cream and got into the train. This was it. Her journey started from there.
On the other side, in an airport, a guy was hugging his friends. There was another guy along with him who was all ready and packed, talking over the phone. After a few minutes, the guy called out,"Hey Raghav !! Let's go. Our flight starts in 10 minutes." The guy Raghav turned around and said,"Ya Sammy.. Am coming up." He turned and gave one last smile to his friends and walked away with Sammy and their parents. As he sat in the flight he thought,"This is it !! My journey starts from here. I have a good feeling."
Sammy : What happened Raghav ?
Raghav : I don't know Sammy. I feel as if something is gonna happen.
Sammy : Good or Bad ?
Raghav : I don't know. I feel excited. But its a different kind of excitement. Its like as if something interesting is gonna happen.
Sammy : If you are talking about time-turners and Jumanji, then sorry Dude !!! Those don't exist 😛
Raghav : Shut up Sammy.. You don't know. They may exist..
Sammy : Yeah yeah.. Whatever you say, Harry Potter 😛
Both friends laughed with Raghav feeling a bit too excited about this particular journey.
