When he left kalpi calms down. The maids sympathize with her, and told her everything will be fine. Kalpi thank them, and went to her room to pack. When she was done, she went home. While home she got a call from her boss, who was upset, she told kalpi that mrs.chopra called her and told her everything. "I told you kalpi these people are big, if you screw up, my business will be in jeopardy." She says
"I know, but I didn't do anything wrong, it was that raj kid. He set me up" she says, she explain what really happened, making her boss laugh. When she calm down, she asked kalpi what she was going to do for two weeks, and she told her she doesn't know. Decided, her boss told her about her brother needing a new waitress. Kalpi agreed to do it, "great, I will tell him" she says hanging up, the next day, kalpi got a call from her boss, she gave her the address and told her to wear a black skirt and a white long sleeve shirt, at first kalpi protested, saying she would never wear something so indecent, but with a lot of convincing she agreed. The next day when kalpi met the boss he was very strict, he told her the rules, and information about his restaurant. Before she could ask questions he cut her off and showed her, her trainer.
So the whole morning she learned how things work and what to do. When it was night time, kalpi was on her own. She was doing pretty well, and people were complimenting her for her fast service.
Meanwhile, raghav got a message from his mom, that she will be late. So he left without her. When he reached the place. He park his car and got out. He fix his tux, and went in, unaware of kalpi attending another table. The host showed him his table, and he was surprise to see no one there. He sat down, and the host told him his waitress will be their shortly. Raghav calmly, check his phone, and text his mom. He told her that he was waiting for her, and she told him, she is getting ready.
Kalpi after attending some table, got a beeper message. Telling her that her other table is ready, happy she walk to the table, but stop when she saw who it was. She stare at him lovingly, watching his every move, but stop when she saw him looking up. Embarrassed she turn around to leave, but raghav calls her. "Excuse me" he says "are you our waitress?", kalpi nervously shook her head, raghav told her to get him some water, which kalpi happily did to get away from him. Once she was at the back, she sigh with relief before cursing her luck. Thinking she search for something to hide her face, when she couldn't find anything she went in the kitchen. looking around, she found some chef making a cake, " that's it" she says, she walks over and grab some, than she put some on her face " this is not enough, he can definitely tell" she says, she grab one of the chef scarf, saying she will give it back, before tying it around her face. "Perfect, now he will never recognized me", quickly she turns to leave and went back to the counter to grab his water.
Raghav still waiting, wonder when the other people will come. While checking the time kalpi managed to put his water on the table. He looks up to thank her, and was taken back,
when he saw her appearance. "why do you have a scarf tied around your face?", kalpi nervously looks away "I'm sick, so I don't want you to catch it as well" she says before fake coughing. He shook his head indicate that he understand before he grab his water. Just then they heard a voice "excuse me is this seat taken" she says, both parties turn to look at paki, she was dress in a black dress, and her hair was wavy. She smiles at them, but became shock when she saw raghav " YOU?!" they said
Kalpi look at them, before wondering how they knew each other. She watch as the girl sit down, smiling. For some reason she didn't like it. seeing her here, alone, suddenly made him realize what was going on. "I can't believe she trick me" he says
"Who did?" paki asks
"My mother, and I'm pretty sure your parents are not coming either" he says, paki denies it saying they told her they were stopping by a cake shop. " they lied to you. Your mom and my mom set us up on a date" he says, making kalpi surprise, she was so surprise that she drop the tray, making them both turn to look at her. Quickly she pick it up and stood up. Paki who just now realize she was there, apologize, before ordering food from kalpi. She asks if raghav wants to eat anything, and he said no.
On the other hand, Paki was over joy, she was on a date with the guy she couldn't get out of her head. At first everything was silent, but They soon started conversing, and even having a good time, well to her they were. Kalpi , watching by the counter did not like it at all, she didn't like the way paki hands would brush his while talking. Or raghav eyes lingering on hers while talking. "Excuse me miss, your food is ready" the chef said snapping her out of her daze. She grabs the food, and took it to the table, unaware of spill water on the floor. As soon as she reached the table, she fell, along with the food. People watch as the food went all over paki, "my dress!" she says
"I'm so sorry, mam" she says getting up to clean her dress
"DON'T! Touch me..Please" she says using a napkin to get rid of the food. She looks at raghav and quickly excuse herself. Embarrassed, she apologized to raghav, who sat there staring at her "you" he says getting out his seat. He walks over to kalpi and stood before her "you look familiar" "are you by any chance ka-"he never got to finish when her boss ran there apologizing for kalpi behavior. He told raghav that she was new and is learning. Raghav told him it was ok, this made the boss smile. The rest of the night consist of paki glaring dagger at kalpi, and kalpi keeping her distance.
Raghav on the other hand, was trying to figure out why the serve looks familiar. He watch as she gather the plates, and talk with her other table. Then she turn to walk to the back, while walking kalpi came into raghav mind. " that's right" he says before standing up, paki who was chatting stops and look at him " what's wrong raghav?", he looks at her before excusing himself.
He followed her all the way to the back, than he waited until she came out the door. "Kalpi" he says, making her stop walking. She turn towards the voice and back away a little closer to the door. He came in front of her " you are kalpi, right?" he says, when he didn't get a response he sigh. Maybe I got it wrong, he thought before thinking even when shes not here, she continues to penetrate my mind. He shook his head and was about to walk away, when he saw the chef heading to the door. When he was near, and ready to push the door open. He grab kalpi and pin her to the wall. "Eeh!" she says while clinging to him. her heart was pounding, and she was pretty sure he could hear it. Raghav after a few second looks down to ask her if she was ok, but stop when he saw kalpi. " so it was you this whole time" he says kalpi was going to deny it when she realize her scarf was gone. Both of them were staring at each other for a different reason but to other people they look like lovers.
Meanwhile, paki who was left at the table, got up to search for raghav. She didn't know why raghav got up so urgently. At first she thought he got an urgent message from his mom, but she was wrong. She had call her mom to ask about him, and she told him, nothing was wrong with his family. So she became worried, she walk around searching for him, and was surprise to see him with some girl. At that moment her heart hurt. All she could think of was removing that girl from his arms. Who is this girl that has my raghav? I won't let her take him from me, she thought determined.
