Chapter 6

The same night Kalpana was laying on her bed and thinking about the incident last night at the party. How that bas***d was forcing her to dance, how Raghav saved her from him, and how Raghav was shouting back to Ria all for her. A small smile came out and she said in her mind, "Raghav ji stood for me?" "He shouted to Ria ji for me? I still can't trust my eyes what I saw. I still can't trust my ears what I heard. "Bappa, am I dreaming or is this real," "Raghav ji, You made me feel so special today. You made me feel like I have someone by my site. I am no more an orphan." She couldn't sleep the whole night thinking about Raghav.

In the morning Ria banged on Kalpi's door and gave Kalpi a tight slap and said "Who do you think you are cheap, bloody, down market sarak pe rahani wali ladki?" "Only because of you Raghav shouted on me for the first time in 8 years! For you, he humiliated my friend! You have no idea, what I had been doing with him in past 8 years but never said a word! He didn't even say anything while I was with random guys! He didn't say anything when I aborted our child but cried on his own!!! Don't you dare mess with me again!!!" and with that Ria left the room. Few drops of tears fell from Kalpana's eyes. These tear were not for herself but for Raghav. "Ria ji, you don't deserve Raghav ji's love," Kalpi thought and wiped off her tears.

Singhania constructions

Raghav and Sammy were preparing a presentation. Sammy noticed that Raghav kept looking at the watch. "What happened Raghav? Why do you keep looking at your watch? We still have two hours until the meeting." Sammy said. "No, actually I need to pick up Kalpana from her university as our driver left early and Kalpana is new here, and she might be in any trouble as she doesn't know the roads very well," Raghav said. "Raghav, how can you leave now? We have a meeting in two hours!" Sammy exclaimed! "Send someone else instead of you going there." "I can't trust anyone else besides me in any case of Kalpana," Raghav thought. "Don't worry, I will be able to reach here on time," and Raghav left the office.

In the car

"Why did you bother," Kalpana said, "I could go home alone." "Kalpana I can't let you leave alone until I can assure myself that now you can transport alone." Raghav said. After driving a while, they saw that the road was blocked. They got to know that Prime Minister of a country just landed in India so he will be going through this road. That's why they have blocked the road for 2 hours. So there were no other option but to stay here until road gets clear. Raghav got a call from Sammy asking when Raghav will be able to reach office. "Sammy, I don't think I will be able to attend the meeting as I am stuck in the car on the road," Raghav told Sammy. "Raghav, do you have any idea what you are saying," Sammy said, "Without you how will this deal be confirmed? Client might cancel the deal! This is the same project we had been working on since two weeks!" "Look Sammy, I could walk up to the office but Kalpana is with me and I don't want her to take this trouble nor can I leave her on the road like this," Raghav said and cut the call. "Please Raghav ji, aap jaiye, I can manage." Kalpana said, after over hearing their conversation. "Kalpana, have you forgotten what I just said few minutes earlier, I already told you and I am not saying it again," Raghav told her.

Both of them were talking about their day as it was a tiring day for Raghav while on the other hand Kalpi had a test.

"Sorry, all because of me you might lose the deal," Kalpana said. "My father used to say...whatever happens, is for the good, maybe in the future something better is coming for you," "that's why don't regret what happens." Raghav said. "I used to follow his rules and I still follow him." Raghav said. "You seemed like an obedient boy to your father." Kalpana said. "Yes" Raghav said, "I never disappointed my parents, in fact I married Ria because my father said so," "Ria's father and my father were friends." "When I came from USA, both of our parents got us married in two days," "Ria was the only woman in my entire life as I didn't get a chance to have any relationship with any other girl before marriage as I was a studious boy and didn't want to waste any of my time for that." "My parents died in a road accident and I was all broken into pieces and couldn't come out from that trauma and I needed a shoulder and was expecting Ria to become that shoulder," "After my parents, Ria was the only person I loved the most." Saying this, a tear fell from his eyes. "I never got what I wanted from her," "I always tried to make her happy but somehow I failed," "I kept on forgiving her for all her mistakes, hoping that she will come back to me and will leave everything behind. I didn't want to lose her," "It took me long enough to come out from the trauma after my parent's death," "I have no more guts to face any more," "Raghav said. Both of them were shivering due to the cold outside. Raghav took the blanket from back seat and handed it over to Kalpi to cover herself. "You are also cold, you can have it, I am fine." Kalpi said. "One idea! If we go backseat this blanket will be able to cover both of us," Raghav said, and both went back seat and covered themselves with the blanket. After fixing themselves on the back seat, Kalpana continued, "Don't worry everything will be fine," "My baba used to say God never disappoints any good people." Kalpana said wiping a tear. "You are right Kalpana." Raghav said and took Kalpana's hand in his. "That's why God sent you in my life," "Whenever I am with you I feel peace," "Whenever I am with you I forget all my pain," "Whenever I am with you, I don't realize when time fly's away," "The concern I have seen in your eyes, I wanted to see the same in Ria's eyes for me," "Ria ko nahi, God kisi aur ko to vega." Raghav said.

Both of them were so tired as they couldn't sleep last night. Raghav found Kalpi fast asleep and her head was about to fall due to the uncomfortable seat. He slowly went near Kalpi closing the gap in between and she rested her head on his shoulder. Raghav then drifted into sleep and unknowingly rested his head on Kalpi's head. Roads were clear after a while, but our RAGNA were sleeping in the car interlocking their hands peacefully.

Chapter 7

One Sunday morning Kalpana went to the pool side to pour water on the flowers. She noticed something and then her eyes fell on Raghav with a boxer on going toward the pool. Raghav was about to jump into the pool when Kalpi ran toward him and pulled him by his hand toward her which caused both of them to fall onto the ground. Raghav was on top of her. "Ouch!!!" Hearing the sound come out from Kalpana's mouth, Raghav said, "Why did you pull me and let me see where did you get hurt, let me check." They are still in the same position. "I am fine" Kalpana said holding her head then Raghav's gaze followed Kalpana where her finger pointed to. They got off quickly from the floor and went near the site where Kalpana was pointing. They found out that there is an electrical wire that fell into the pool. Seeing this Raghav's eyes widened and started shouting, "Who did this!" "How can people be so irresponsible." "People could die," "If No one dares to come into the pool then Who Was Here?" Raghav asked. "No one else but Ria ji" "I have seen her come out from here," Kalpi said. "Thanks God nothing happened with Ria." Both said at the same time.

Another day Kalpi got a phone call from Raghav that if she can send a file through the driver and he instructed where she can get the file. Raghav was on the line and instructing her when "AHH..."hearing the sound Raghav got off from his chair tensed to know what happened with Kalpana but the call got cut. Raghav rushed to the house and saw Kalpi was taken to her room with a maid and driver beside her. "What happen with Kalpana," "Why didn't you call me or pick up the phone as I kept on calling you while driving?" Raghav showered hundreds of questions. "Sir..." "I heard a loud sound from your office room then I ran to see what happened and found Kalpana ji was laying on the floor, then I called driver to let you know, he kept on calling you but got busy because you were also tried to call here," Maid said in a hurry. The doctor came and gave her medicine and said she will be fine in a while, saying so he left the house. Then Kalpana narrated everything happened in that room as she got electrical shocked while going to flip the switch of the office room. "What is happening in this house?" Both Raghav and Kalpana were thinking about both incidents. Raghav called electrician and checked the whole house.

Singhania Constructions

Ramu kaka entered into the cabin while Raghav and Sammy were discussing about a project and said "Sir," "Someone's stuck in the elevator." "Kalpana" the only word came out of his mouth after hearing Ramu kaka. "Kalpana what?" Sammy asked. "Kalpana was supposed to come now as she called me and informed that she needs my signature on a paper as a guardian for her university." And he rushed to the elevator and started shouting on people to open it. It's been half an hour but couldn't open and after trying hard they were able to open the fourth floor elevator door but the elevator was stuck on 3^rd floor. Finally Raghav was able to see Kalpi who was sitting on the elevator floor. As soon as Raghav saw Kalpi he jumped from fourth floor to third floor where Kalpi was sitting. Raghav found her with red eyes, scared and suffocated, seeing her in this situating he gave her a tight hug assuring her that she will be fine. In a few minutes elevator door opened as they were still in the same position hugging to each other without caring about people who were staring at them. Raghav broke the hug and lifted her into his arm and headed to the cabin. Raghav made her lie on the couch and made her drink water. He was very tensed to see Kalpi's condition. Sammy watched the whole scenario and said in his mind "Why Raghav is so concerned about Kalpana?"

Raghav said in his mind, "Why all this happening with Kalpana?" Recalling all the incidents happened now days.

Singhania Mansion

Two weeks later Kalpana came out from the washroom hearing the phone ringing. She quickly picked up the phone and before saying hello, she heard someone saying "Sorry Ria Mam to call you at your land phone, actually I couldn't reach you on your cell." "The work is done as you said." "No one else but your husband Raghav Sighania will be stuck in the elevator this time as it is 8 PM, no one is at the office to save him," Saying so the guy cut the call. Hearing this Kalpi got shocked and recalling all the incidents that happened earlier, pool site incident, Raghav's office room incident, Raghav's office elevator incidents, everything is related to Raghav. "All the incidents pointed to Raghav Ji. It means all of them were by well planned." Kalpi said in her mind. "Why Ria ji wants to harm Raghav ji?" "Oh My God!!! Raghav ji!!" Kalpi shouted and quickly called Raghav to inform not to take the elevator but his phone was on silent mood so he didn't hear it. Kalpana got tensed and rushed to the car. On the way to the office Kalpana kept trying his phone but couldn't reach. If he got stuck no one will be there to save him as she already know how suffocating it is in the elevator. She kept crying and praying to God if he is okay. The driver asked her the reason of her crying but didn't get any response. Once she reached office Kalpana rushed to the floor using stairs. Finally, she found Raghav in front of the elevator door waiting to open. Kalpana rushed to him and hugged him tightly. She is still crying. Raghav was shocked seeing her behavior. "What happened Kalpana?" "Why are you crying?" Raghav asked caressing her back. They were in this position for a while. Raghav broke the hug seeing the elevator door open. "Let's go home," "We will have a talk later." Raghav said. Kalpana nodded and asked "Can we take the stairs today instead of elevator?" Raghav agreed.

In the car going back home Kalpana was sitting very close to Raghav holding his hand tightly and rested her head on his shoulder. Raghav understood something bad happened. He also held her by her arm.

Kalpana couldn't disclose the truth to Raghav as she knew how he will react after hearing this. He will be all heart broken and he will hurt himself as he did last time after hearing Ria's news in the newspaper. Kalpana couldn't bear this anymore then she decided to keep quiet as Raghav asked her several times. She also decided to confront to Ria.

"Why do you want to harm Raghav ji?" Kalpana asked directly to Ria. Ria avoided Kalpana's question and was about leave but stopped hearing Kalpana, "I know all the incidents were happened as per you're doing." "What rubbish," "Do you know what are you talking about?" Ria asked shouting.

"Both of us know very well what I am talking about," "The person you hired called on land phone said his elevator plan by mistakenly knowing that you were on the phone," "But luckily it was me not you." "Oh, Okay if you already know then I might as well explain my plan to you." Ria said, "Raghav is poison in my life," "I've always wanted to be as free as a bird, but my dad got me married to this idiot as he said if I wouldn't get married to him he wouldn't give me any property and I needed money." "This idiot wants me to stick with him only, as I need various people in my life. I already told my dad that I wanted to get divorced, but my dad threatened me that if I do it I won't get any property so I had no other option but to kill Raghav. After Raghav will die I can get all his properties including my dad's,"Ria said, "All the plans I have created have been destroyed all because of you." "Your plans have never succeeded and never will. If you will try to harm Raghav ji you will have to get through me first!" Kalpi shouted, "You know what? I pity on you, you were very lucky to have a person like Raghav ji in your life but I must say you are the most unlucky person because you never understood the value of this person." "I am telling you, you will regret what you have done someday."

Kalpana would always keep an eye on Ria to make sure she doesn't harm Raghav. Kalpana noticed that suddenly Ria would go to the kitchen as she never goes there. Before serving the food Kalpana would check to make sure everything was okay.

One evening Raghav was working on his laptop in the living room. Kalpana was watching him and a small smile formed, "I LOVE YOU RAGHAV JI," then she just realized what she just said.

After few days, Raghav went out of city for an important meeting. Meanwhile there was news that there was flooding and all the cars were stuck. Kalpana was tensed about how Raghav will return home. On the other hand, Raghav was stuck on a street in his car with water up to his knees. He was not able to unlock his seatbelt and unlock the door as well. He felt suffocated and was unable to breathe, he felt like he was going to die. He somehow managed to call Kalpana. NOW THE QUESTION IS: DID HE REALLY WANT TO SEE KALPANA BEFORE DYING AND NOT HIS BELOVED WIFE RIA? Kalpana picked up the phone in a hurry seeing Raghavs name on it, "Hello! Raghav ji! Where are you! Are you okay!" All Kalpana could hear was the sound of Breathing rapidly. Just from that Kalpana understood Raghav was in big trouble. Immediately she called Sammy to trace out where Raghav could be. After using many sources Kalpi was finally able to reach Raghav. Kalpi picked up a rod lying down on the streets and used it to break the car window and she got him out of there. Using the rod Kalpi broke the lock of a nearby small store and made Raghav rest there. They spent the night at the shop.

Ria was talking on the phone with someone. "...All these went in vain because of that maid Kalpana. He would have been dead by now but Kalpana hamesha dhal bankey khari hoti hai. Even after our plan to fail his car brake he is still alive for that witch. You know what the main person I would blame is my father. Because of him I have to plan to kill Raghav. If he would give me the property none of this would have happened. I can't believe I still have to deal with this idiot for 8 years and on. HIM??? LOVE??? NO WAY!!!..." Someone was watching from behind the corner and has heard everything. That is none other than Raghav.
