I somewhere like this kalpu (basically ur line of thinking) ...if this story wud have been in somebody else's hands I suppose the part where she was crying , kalpi wud have broken down in front of Raghav ...but no ! U didn't let that happen ...instead u focused so well on portraying her strength ..

I am in serious admiral of this girl ... 👏👏 Breaking down is easy ...but remaining strong takes immense courage.

Yes... My Kalpi is estrong... just like what kamla wanted... but destroyed... and I have made... Well, of course there could have been any possibilities of sharing and breaking down, but the reaction of Raghav... that is him displacing anger on Kalpana ... was enough for her to just cut off with him completely..

Chapter 12

Developing Relations and Realizations..

(Family Drama)

[Less of RagNa, Yet I felt it was important... very important chapter for it's base of other forming relationship... A Promise to Update next Chapter VERY SOON...]

Raghav rested down on his bed as he tried to sleep, however he kept turning sides on his bed. Sometimes facing left, sometimes right, sometimes removing blanket from the face or covering it another moment... But sleep was far away from his eyes as he finally set on his bed and stared aimlessly at wall completely confused. He finally picked up his phone and thought of calling... "No... Raghav what are you doing?" he thought to himself, "It's not right to call... that too at this time!" he said looking at watch hanging... yet realizing something he picked up his phone and dialled her number.

Kalpana reached home, tired and exhausted as she fell on sofa next to the bed where Vitthal was lying. Kamla came out smiling... "Kalpi... Beta you know, today I bought Cashews and I have already kept extra milk for making Paneer... when my Pakya and my daughter-in-law comes... I have planned... to..." rest of her words faded enough to reach Kalpana's ears as she saw her mother happily waiting for arrival for his son and her father's eyes eager to see them as well... and tears rolled down her eyes, with thought of the heart break which she had experienced this morning... it's pain will once again be burdened but this time on weak hearts of her parents... Kalpana calmed herself... as she held her mother's hand who just got up to leave.

"Dadaji?" Raghav confirmed on phone as old voice replied back... "Raghav beta... So today finally something makes you remember me?" he asked... [Assume Dadaji of Nisha Aur Uske Cousin]

Raghav smiled hearing him as usual in his amusing tone... as he replied, "Nothing Dadaji... Today we got our deal and meetings are going extremely well..." he informed...

Dadaji: "My grandson ... you seem to have mistaken... While dialing the number, have you lost your father's number?" (dadaji asked sarcastically...)

Raghav: "No dadaji, why are you saying this? Can't I call up to even give you some good news...?"

Dadaji: "No, you will never!" dadaji assured as he continued, "Beta, you remember when you were very small, you had once lost in the race, and your father, that is my stupid son had scolded you for not practicing enough, you had come to me crying... and slept on my lap that whole night... till I spoke to you and assured you with every failure you are heading one step towards success and you had understood importance of failure too, ...!" He reminded... "You have ever since then come to me, only when you have failed... never have you thought of me or my words when you are happy and successful... So beta, now no make ups, and tell me... what is bothering you?"

Raghav was stunned hearing what he said on other side... and it never pinched him that he was indeed right! He NEVER had approached him or spoke to him unless he was hit by failure... though this was completely unintentional.

Dadaji: "Beta, don't hesitate... it's ok now that you have realized it... but now tell me, my son, what is hurting you?"

Tears rolled down his eyes, as he was still speechless, but he wanted to tell him, ... Speak to him... inform him... but he himself was still unsure about what was exactly bothering him! All he knew was that it was related to Kalpana, ... But he simply had no clue how to explain and put it in words.

Raghav: "Dadaji... it's... nothing ... I just ..." ...He paused, trying pick up the correct words, yet he failed miserably... "Dadaji, I was just missing you, hence called you,... cannot now wait to come to meet you in 3 days..." is all he could speak.

Dadaji smiled hearing Raghav, for it was first time that he heard Raghav missing something called "Bond, and relations... which they had since HIS birth, but was never given importance, ..." which made him it very clear to him, that things are changing for his grandson, and it cannot be out of nowhere and magic... It must be someone?? It can be some friend he made... or ...

Dadaji: "Who is she?" he asked... Utterly surprising Raghav just by his words as he continued, "After considering so many deals and succeeding in so many projects with letting Singhaniya's reputation fly and keep their head high, making everyone proud, SO only place where my grandson can actually fail is... Relations and taking care of relationships..."

Raghav bowed his head... lost in hearing every word his dadaji was saying, till date he has always spoke and explained to him to maintain good values, but he being his dad's son always wanted to follow his footsteps and make big.

Dadaji: "Raghav are you listening beta?"

Raghav: coming back to self, "Um... Yeah yeah dadaji, very keenly..."

Dadaji: Smiled yet again, "So are you in love my dear grandson?"

Raghav felt being mocked as he chuckled,

Raghav: "Love seems to be some far away sight dadaji, we seem to be not even friends..!" Raghav replied ... still nodding his head in disappointment.

Dadaji laughed at his statement, "So show her list of all the properties we own, and bank balance of Singhaniyas, she might agree to marry you tomorrow itself..." Jokingly suggested Raghav.

Raghav rolled his eyes, "So you are in mood of making fun of me rather than giving any proper solution right?"

Dadaji calmed himself after talking to him, "How can I give you solution my son! You will have to figure this path on your own...!! But I will not blame you for being confused and lost as you have never really experienced meaning of nurturing them. Your mother and father have been opposite ends, but you might have missed those small moments when they did show care and affection for each other, forget you... even they themselves might have failed to realize the role they played in each other's life and their success, and hence you have learned just one thing... relations and sacrifices are for emotional fools, which has been spoiling our culture... I mean Indian culture of course..." Dadaji paused catching his own breath...

Raghav: "Dadaji, maybe you are right... But they are... Dadaji, so many Indians have achieved a lot, have contributed so much, but because of their emotions and other aspects, they have never been credited, and someone else invents on the formula, making it their products... Had Indians been little wiser and lesser reliant on relations and emotions, maybe first watch would have been patented by US!" he said recollecting the man who spoke of time and time for sun rise... in village area...

Dadaji: "I am happy to hear US for Indians Raghav from you..!! Beta, ends are always lose, competitions are always there, it's simply upon us... We can discuss all that later on... Just remember on one thing... if you really wish to atleast befriend Her, and she is the one who will not flatter with all the wealth you carry... THERE IS NO SOLUTION I CAN GIVE! Or say it's too late for you to get the solution instilled which should have been since childhood... But a small tip : best way to develop relations is by respecting and understanding relations... not just of self but of others as well..."

Raghav nodded his head as he muttered, "Thank You!" quietly.

Dadaji: "Now I will keep the phone down, you better need to save the bill in case for future generation..."

Raghav chuckled hearing him and his jokes... Both hanged up the call and Raghav stood by open window staring down as wind blew on his face trying to wash away any sort of disappointments.

On the other end in Jadhav's family, water continued to roll down through eyes of every member as they silently tried to sleep, showing least of the affect they had on hearing the truth of Prakash not coming anytime soon. Kalpana got up, unable to bear it anymore, and went to small temple in her house with frames of Ganesha. "Please bappa, please do something..." She prayed placing her head on the corner of temple crying her out... "I cannot see aai baba so upset craving to see their kids, please somehow bring bhai and bhabhi home,..." She begged and crying... "Even if it's for 20 minutes..." Kalpana tried bargaining, ... and continued crying placing her head right at corner,... she was broken... and wanted to cry... When she felt assuring hands being placed on her shoulder to find Kamla... who was in tears as well, "Beta we have to take care of your baba and hence stay and remain strong Kalpana..." Kamla requested... with all strength she had... Kalpana hugged him around her waist and continued sobbing, while Kamla kept on patting her head.

On the other side, in New York airport, family was awaiting for being checked in and frowning for delay in flight. "Kittu... don't run here and there beta, please sit on chair..." woman shouted at her son. Prakash was now staring at the board waiting for the flight while Sapna tried handling him and Kittu. "I am coming Kalpi... I know if my father needs me, I will be there for him." Sapna hugged him from side, bringing smile on his face, as he placed a kiss on her forehead and kept family waited at airport for boarding the next flight to India.

"Prakash, please call Kalpi, or Kamla maa once... they all must be worried," Sapna requested, Pakya nodded, "I tried a lot... but no harm actually in one more trial, but won't be too late?." Pakya asked... "Not for family, who awaits your arrival... the news won't let them sleep.

Kalpana had slept while Kamla kept massaging her head. Kamla suddenly felt some vibration sound... Kalpana was in depth of her sleep which kamla didn't intend to distract. She reached the phone and picked up the call... "Hello?" said Kamla... Pakya's happiness knew no bound... as he spoke... "Maa..." Kamla too was literally happy at the time later than midnight hearing her son... "Maa... We are coming... We are coming day after, we are at airport and boarding the flight in 2 hours, will reach as planned... There is long halt at Germany too before we make it there..." Pakya assured... Kamla was very happy... She wiped her tears of sadness as fresher of happiness started forming, "Sacchi?" and Pakya replied positively... she looked at mini-temple and joined her hands to thank deva... "I will not Kalpi anything, let her be surprise..." Kamla thought... however she decided to make sure, kalpana won't have bad and sad day tomorrow... thinking about Pakya. She well knew if Kamla showed strong side and remained away from thoughts, Kalpana's burden would have lessened, as she stroked her hand through her hair, while Kalpana slept peacefully.
