Each of the delegates were highly impressed with Kalpi's presentation. They were full of praises for her. Raghav was swelling with pride for his best friend. He got the deal on his own terms and conditions,like the way he prefer. Sammy together with Mr.Mehta went to escort the delegates. Raghav and Kalpi were alone in the room. Slowly as if his body having its own thinking went towards Kalpi who already was looking at him expectantly. "You did really well." His words carried the sincerity and trueness. Kalpi hugged him tightly. Momentarily forgetting they are in office and the pact they have made of not addressing each other the way they do before and after office hours Raghav too wrapped his arms around her thus caging her withing his arms.
They stood like this for minutes. "I hope...I didn't disappoint you."She said while breaking the hug. "You can never ever disappoint me Kalpi." "Thank you...for pushing me...it was so needed. I felt all that confidence which I had lost came back to me and its all coz you, you pushed me to stand on my own.Thank you." Raghav frowned on listening to her and said "Somebody told me you should never say thanks to your friend. But I am unable to remember who said this? Will you help me? Do you know who said this to me."He asked, his eyes carrying the mischief while his lips adorned with smile. She remembered what she had said to him when they went for an outing. She smiled and dabbed him on his shoulder.
"Sweetheart" Sammy said while he came inside the conference room together with Pooja. "You were awesome."He went about to hug her but stopped in mid. "I am sorry...actually I was so happy that I just forgot you..." He lowered his head in disappointment . Kalpi hugged him. "You felt shy in hugging your sweetheart but I am not shy like you." For once Raghav didn't get irritate with Sammy on calling Kalpi sweetheart and hugging her too. "So you are back.The old time is back." All four of them laughed. "You were outstanding Kalpana."Pooja said while hugging her.
"Well now that I had done so well I deserve a treat. Don't I?" Kalpana exclaimed with glint in her eyes and looked at the trio. Raghav grimaced for somewhere he knew where she is heading to.
"You know guys I had always thought of going to Disco with you guys. I have heard a lot about Mumbai discos. So shall we go out today. All six of us. It will be so much fun." There was excitement in her voice which Raghav didn't want to break but has too for her betterment.
Sammy and Pooja nodded. "I'll call Priya." he said. "Yea and I'll call Dhaval. He must be waiting for my call by now." They were about to open the door to exit the room when Raghav said "We are not going anywhere." They were shocked to hear it and moreover seeing the sternness in his body language. "Its final and I don't want any argument on it." Kalpi came towards him and asked very innocently "Why?" Her face carried her confused emotions.
"Kalpi I guess you have been discharged 2 days before from hospital and all I know is these two days had been a whirlwind journey for you. You shouldn't take so much of exertion. You will fall ill."
"And who said this to you. Wait a minute no prizes for guessing...Dr. Jasraj, right!!!" She said with almost an anger filled voice. Here she wanted to forget that she is weak and now Raghav had made her realise again that she is..."Fine! we won't go anywhere. Happy." He looked at her for forgiveness coz he broke her heart while she stompped her foot on his and went outside. "Ouch..." He winced in pain but she was gone.
"I'll just see to her." Pooja went after her while Sammy puffed out looking at him. "Does it hurt so much" Raghav looked at him angrily "She was wearing flats. It doesn't hurt so much I have experience, Priya does it when she is angry on me so..." He looked here and there to see if somebody is watching and then said "The passage is clear you can walk straight. Saying so he went out of the room with a smile on his face as somewhere he knew Raghav was not wrong in denying and Kalpi should take rest.
He put is foot straight and came out without any limp. "Sammy caught me otherwise I am sure seeing me limping Kalpi would have definitely come to me to tender my injury. Dammit!!! Dammy took his phone and answered "Dhaval, Samar here, where is Kalpi?" He asked all in one breath. He met silence on the other side for few moments but then a tensed voice answered "What do you mean by where is Kalpi? She was supposed to be in office. I thought she will come with Raghav. Where is she??? Wait I'll try her no and will call you back." "No use Dhaval she is not taking the calls." "What exactly happened?" Be almost lost his cool. Her sudden disapperance was irking him. "Raghav you search downstairs while I and Pooja will check all the floors alright." "Wait lemme call Nandan he will check the entire lobby as well as basement. We will check all the floors." He was about to dial his no but instead Nandan called him.

Few minutes later she was sitting in front of him. "So how are you Kalpana? Well your visit is quite a surprise for me I thought you would be taking rest. Anyways tell me is there any problem for which I can help or provide a solution." "Why am I so weak doctor that every decision related to my life needs to be taken under your guidance." He was stunned to heree this accusation but knowing fully well about her frustration he answered very nonchalantly "Well I certainly don't advise any of your friends to come and take guidance from me to help you take your life's decision. If they do so they are to be blamed not me." "But you too agree that I am weak. Right now you said it...you thught I would be taking rest." He leaned on his desk and placed his crossed his hands on the table and answered "In that case I have to say Kalpana that you are a passive listener. I indeed said about the rest thing but I didn't mention anywhere that you are weak." Her anger was fuming and she said "Though not exactly but loosely it means the same." "Kalpana rest and weakness are two completely different scenarios. When you are weak you need to take rest but that really doesn't mean, when you take rest you are weak. Even a machine is given a rest for a day when it works continously. Though its a non-living thing yet it is given rest. Okay lets take it this way As a Doctor every year I go on for a vacation. Why??? Its simple I need rest. I work daily and meet different kind of people. Somewhere they do affect me. It all gets clustered up and I need a break to give rest to my mind. So does that mean I am weak. No I am not. "
"I also know the difference between taking rest on break and taking rest due to weakness. You are saying me to take rest coz I m weak." She was almost on the verge of crying."Kalpana if you are weak then probably I have to change the definition of weakness coz you fit no where in the criterias of being weak and I mean it." But then humans do feel tired. Me,you or anyone else. Thats why we go on vacations. Kalpana throw this thought out of your mind that you are weak. You ain't and I can bet on it."
He smiled seeing the relief seeping in her eyes. "Thank you Doctor." "Don't be you are my most favourite patient. Just take rest for a while and then bounce back." "Right." " Come I'll drop you till downstairs." "Okie" "By the way Kalpana I have an idea for you next weekend Singhania Industries is going to throw New Year Party. You can enjoy that as much as you want." Kalpana looked at him in surprise for Raghav didn't tell him even once that there is going to be any sort of Party. She knew wat she has to do. They came near the car and waving good bye Kalpana went towards Raghav's home.
Meanwhile Raghav was surprised as well as happy. Surprised coz Kalpana went to Dr. Jasraj without informing him and happy coz she took Nandan and his car without even asking him once whether she can take the car or not. It was evident she still holds the right on all his belongings. He picked out his phone and dialled Dhaval's no to inform him amd ask him to come to his home.
Dhaval felt relaxed on hearing that Kalpi is fine and all of them mutualy decided they won't ask Kalpi about her meet with Dr. Jasraj. If she feels to share it with them she will reveal all on her own.
Machines, humans, be it living or non-living thing everybody needs rest. But to misinterpret it as weakness is wrong. Kalpana thought of herself as a weak personwhen in real she never had the privilege to take a vacation. Its this over exertion of body which demanded rest. A doctor and patient share a very beautiful relation of faith. Its the faith that keeps the patient alive and helps Doctors to heal them. Dr.Jasraj explained her her situation very well and its the trust that Kalpana has placed on him that she accepted whatever he said.
