They were seated in the office when Dhaval arrived. "I'm sorry for being late actually got stuck in work...sorry" "Its ok Dhaval...at least you told me that you will be late...waise bhi now a days I have no idea of your whereabouts" Kalpi replied tauntingly. Dhaval looked at Raghav and he simply shrugged his shoulder. "She will blow up I guess." He thought and decided soon after Sammy's marriage he will let he know about his relationship with Pooja.
"Now that we're are here Kalpi will you let us knk the purpose of this EGM" "EGM!!!" "Yes! That is how I am feeling right now" Sammy said. "Ok fine I'm revealing the purpose behind his meet" "please" Pooja said and Kalpi passed an angry glare.
"Guys I think...no I actually smelt something fishy in Naina's presence. I mean how can anyone meet co incidentally in a designer studio specifically meant for marriage when he or she is not here for that purpose. I researched about her and got to know that she has flown down to India for cracking some big deal and what I find more suspicious is there is no byte on that so called 'BIG DEAL'...I mean aise kaise yaar my women instinct is saying something is fishy...something is not right"
There was pin drop silence in the room. What she said did make sense but to jump on conclusion seemed immaturity yet they have to be careful because this was one thought which passed through trio's mind as well but they didn't utter a word while Kalpana being fourth one who knew about Naina openly asked her doubt.
"First tell me who is Naina?" Dhaval asked completely unaware about this lady who was their subject matter of discussion. Priya looked at Dhaval and then at Pooja whose expression mirrored that of Dhaval. Priya went on to narrate them the entire history of Naina and by the end of it they seconded Kalpi's doubt.
They all decided to stay alert and remain conscious about her presence.
Soon they got busy in marriage preparations and in between Raghav and Kalpi as well as Dhaval and Pooja stole moments for themselves.
Soon the wedding week arrived and functions started. All the while Naina tried to stay with Raghav but someway or the other anyone used to come in between .
After Sangeet Sandhya Dhaval called Raghav at his place since Kalpi and Pooja stayed at Sammy's and Priya's place respectively.
"What happened Dhaval? Is everything ok between you and Pooja???" "Why would anything go wrong between me and her" Dhaval snapped at him and Raghav raise his hand in air giving him a blank look. "Listen I have gathered it all. Naina and her father are neck deep in debt and have assured their investors that they are going to India to crack a big deal and post that they will pay off all the debts. Dude one of my friend work in the finance department and he told me that they have not been working currently on any project related to India. Now you are smart enough to do 2 and 2 four."
"Hmmm so I am their Big Deal! They have come here knowing very well that I am all alone and if she somehow manages to get close to me, she will capitalise the situation and will take benefit out of it thus leaving no chance but to accept her. And this route will take her to my monetary power. Very sharp but they have forgotten I am Raghav Singhnia...I have made myself and only I'll shall ruin my identity no body can come and make a fool of me and get what they want. Naina you are gone now." Both guys smiled wickedly
After reaching home Raghav called someone and asked him to do something for him and smiled "Tomorrow is a big day for you Kalpi. You are in for a surprise and Naina you're finished."
Wedding day came and so came the day when Raghav will close the chapter of Naina in his life once for all. Naina was that one chapter in his life that had loose ends. He was settled with his past but Naina was one person whom he didn't remember but his ties with her didn't end properly leaving a hope in her heart that she may get him back.
Raghav and Kalpana came as Baraatis (from groom's side) while Pooja and Dhaval stood with Priya's parents to welcome them. Sammy invited Dr.Jasraj in every function of marriage. Because of Kalpana he also got close to him.
Media was trying to take pics of Raghav and Sammy. In order to not look obvious Naina stayed with Priya and waited patiently for the Baraatis. She knew her moves will be caught under camera and she didn't want to look suspicious.
As soon as they entered the premises they were welcomed in a grand style. Before entering inside the media insisted to take the pics which they generously gave but Naina made it a point that she stands besides Raghav. Kalpi was fumed but seeing the ocassion and place she cooled herself and went inside with Pooja Dhaval ignoring Raghav who got left behind as Naina's father stopped him and engaged him in SOE conversation.
Raghav understood the intention behind Naina's father's action as media is present and they are talking while getting clicked will definitely send wrong signals to the corporate world. Naina too stayed behind and stood besides Raghav thus creating a buzz that something is brewing between them.
"Raghav I am so happy for you. You have become such a successful businessman. I am proud of you. When Mr.Singhania died I was really worried for you, Naina told me how shattered you were and used to remain quite in the class. In fact when I read about you in business magazine they wrote you are very strict an arrogant businessman but looking at you at present it doesn't seem so. Right Naina." "Yes Dad...and now so many years have passed I am sure Raghav must have come over his grief after all he is a string guy" Naina dabbed his shoulder to which he passed an angry glare to Naina as well as her father. He walked past them without bothering to call them inside.
"I think it went well...waise bhi media couldn't hear what we were talking and our investors must have seen this footage. I am sure more than Sammy we are going to remember this marriage...our lives are going to change" The father daughter duo laughed while coming inside mentally patting themselves.
Inside the marriage function started and Raghav and Kalpi were on their toes completely busy in the function. They were making sure that everything went well. The wedding planner was reporting Raghav and Kalpi. Soon gathbandhan time came and Sammy asked Kalpi to come forward and tie the knot. Raghav smiled looking at the sweet gesture of Sammy while Kalpi came forward and tied the knot tightly while giving side hug to the couple.
An emotional wave passed through everyone standing there who are close to the couple. They waited a lot for this day and today their wait ended. They are sealing their relationship and taking it all together to a new level. Sammy filled Priya's mang and tied mangalsutra around her neck.
Raghav eyes were moist looking at the couple who stood with him and became his strength. They waited for him to become normal and start living a normal life and finally when he started they tied knot. It was indeed an emotional moment.
The couple along with few family members came outside. Flash of cameras can be felt in each second from every side. Naina somehow came forward to get caught in cameras as amongst those 'Few' members who accompanied Sammy and Priya
Raghav took it as a opportunity and when they were about to turn he said I want to say something on this ocassion. Everybody stopped and looked at him with curious eyes. Nobody had any idea about it apart from Dhaval who knew Raghav will do something to cut down her moves once for all.
"I know this wasn't planned but I have to say something and I guess this is the right time. I know though Sammy has settled still he will be worried for me, this is his nature and immense love for me. Sammy today I am going to rest you worry once and for all." Sammy looked at him all confused and then looked at Priya who was equally confused. Kalpi who was not under spot light was also looking at him. She had no idea what he was going to do.
"I am not good in playing with words so will come directly to point I have found someone for myself" Naina was all alert and was trying to come near to him so as to come under spot light with him but his words caught her attention and she stood still along with her father as they knew their game was over. Kalpana and the while group stood surprised. Kalpi was surprised because Raghav was going to make their relation official and other coz they didn't know Raghav loved someone.
She has changed my way of thinking on personal front... I am more stable. They say "LOVE HAS ITS STRANGE WAYS" If somebody would have told me this almost 8 months before then I would have given him a disgusted look but today I believe in it completely. She came into my life in the most strange way and became an integral part of so much that today I feel incomplete without her. I have shared my fears, my loneliness, my thoughts, my happiness and mos of all my time with her and now I want to share my life with her. I know girls want their partner to propose them and give them a lovely pleasant surprise and this is all what came into my mind. I talked with Nishant Uncle, who is a father figure to me and had approved my choice and he liked the idea and today I ask before everyone KALPANA will you marry me" Suddenly all the eyes turned towards her and the media followed their gaze and fixed their cameras on that angle.
It was sudden and Kalpana had no idea what to say. She looked at Dhaval and at that moment Raghav said " I think you should too propose Pooja" Dhaval looked at him in shock while Kalpana looked at Dhaval with mouth agape while Pooja blushed and lowered her eyes. Kalpi had no idea of their relation and now she understood Dhaval's absence. Sammy and Priya thanked Gods for making their marriage a very memorable day.
Nishant came ahead and said "you guys are soon going to witness another grand marriage with double celebrations. I am haapy my other son is going to get married soon an he has got a perfect partner."
So guys my very first attempt to writing, my first story comes to an end. I hope you all liked the journey. Pardon me for my mistakes and I apologise if you didn't like any of the parts.
