Morning sun rays creep in from the curtains striking the darkness with its light. The reays fell on Kalpi breaking her sleep. She rubbed her eyes and woke up but couldn't get up properly. She tried to check out the reason and found Raghav's hand protectively draped around her waist. She was almost caged by him. She looked at him, her eyes filled with love for the man who was sleeping beside her. Last night she came across his vulnerable side...his pain, his hardships, his struggle to survive in this world where everybody was after him for his money. How his life changed from prince he turned into a struggler overnight. "How did he take in so much of pain...I felt me and Dhaval are God's children...but no...he too is amongst us." She thought and kissed his temple. He moved a lil but didn't wake up...may be after so many years he slept peacefully.
Slowly she moved his hand to get up. Well she failed not completely as she managed ti sit on the bed and rest her head on the board behind. She kept looking at him moving her fingers in his hair...she remembered her time when she got flashes of her accident and he was there to support her. How they end up sleeping together since her grip on his hand was so strong that he couldn't leave her. She smiled on remembering that night...at that time she was vulnerable and last night he was in the same position.
The vibrating phone broke her thoughts and she looked at the source..It was Raghv's cell flashing Sammy's number. She quickly picked it up so that he doesn't get disturbed in his sleep.
"Sammy...why did you call this early...is everything okay...Uncle...Priya...haan...bolo na...bolte kyun nai ho...your sweet heart is getting worried." She said it all in one go but at the same time she remembered to keep her voice low.
"Only if you allow me to speak sweetheart" He answered and she closed her eyes realising how she spoke continously without break. "Sorry" "Ok... and by the way its 11 of morning so I am not calling early you got up late...wait why did you take Raghav's cell...is he with you...you are together." She was toungue tied...she had no idea of how to answer this question."Aaa...woh we were watching movie last night and fell asleep...so you know." He didn't like the explanation nor did he accept it but right now he had a very complicated matter in his hand. "Raghav kaha hai" "So raha hai" "To uthao" She didn't want to. "Kalpi this is important." "Raghav Sammy ka phone hai utho. Utho...Raghav...get up na..." She was careful enough to keep her hand on the phone so that Sammy couldn't over hear their convo.
He moved a lil and woke up. He wished her Good morning and leaned a lil to get his Good Morning kiss but Kalpi kept her hand in his mouth and shook her head in no. "Sammy is on the other side." She pointed towards his phone. "So..." He said while adjusting himself on the bed. "Talk to him" "No" "Why...he wants to talk to you." "First my kiss and then other things." He said naughtily and winked at her. She fumed in anger while he was having his share of fun. "Baat karo." "Na" "Hellooo" Sammy shouted on phone coz of this extreme long wait completely unaware of the situation on the other side.
She urged him to talk with Sammy after he yelled on phone...but he didn't budge at all. He was adamant to get his kiss everything else can wait. She knew there was no point in arguing with him since he is having a upper hand right now. She shifted a lil towards his side and his eyes went wide when she kissed him on his cheek. Though he wanted on lips but still even cheek is fine atleast she kissed him. Taking full advantage of the situation he kissed her on her cheek as well and took the phone from her hand.
"Hi Sammy...Sorry was lil lazy to get up...this party and all doesn't suit me. Anyways what is so urgent...Hmmm I don't think so its related to business." "Its okay dude and yea its not related to business. Actually...do one thing keep the phone on speaker want sweet heart also" "Its Kalpi Sammy." He said irritatingly while Kalpi roller her eyes on seeing the same expression of anger on his face again..."Alright want KALPI also to be a part of our conversation." "Wait" He put the phone on speaker while Sammy continued. "Guys I am very tensed" "Kyun Kya hua" questionned Kalpi "Dad is going to Priya's house to officially ask her hand for me." Raghav and Kalpi both looked at each other in confusion after a little pause Raghav asked "Have your parents forgotten that you both are already engaged." "Dude...I mean Dad is going there to fix the date." "So whats the problem" she asked. "Sw...Kalpi what if she says she needs some time... then" Sammy looked at his phone after facing a brief silence from the other side and then sounds of laughter.
Raghav and Kalpi were laughing on him. He himself knew that his question was utterly stupid but he just needed to satisfy his anxiety. "Guys don't laugh please. I am damn serious." After controlling her laughter she asked "Are you suppose to get married with Priya." "What sort of question is this!!!" "Answer me Sammy" "Yes" "Then get ready to become groom coz I know Priya...she won't say no to you dumbo." And they laughed again but this time Sammy was relaxed. Now his anxiety has taken a back seat. "Achha listen guys you both have to come with me." "Why only us... Dhaval and Pooja too should come along." "Don't take Priya easily. She knew Raghav will come with me and for Kalpi well she definitely won't leave you" Kalpi fumed in anger and looked at Raghav. He smiled on seeing her reaction. "So...both of you get ready by 1. We are having lunch at my home and then at 2:30 we will leave for Priya's home." "Okay Sir" Raghav said and Kalpi giggled. "Shut up and by sweetheart" Sammy said and hung up before Raghav could react.
"Raghav ek to bechara aise hi ghabraya hua hai aur tum" "What why he calls you sweet heart" "C'mon he doesn't mean the way you react." "Like I don't know but how simply he called you sweet heart while it took so much time from my side and yet I am unable to call you..." She looked at him expectantly and after a small pause he said "Sweetheart."She hugged him tightly and he welcomed her gesture with all his heart.
"Get ready...today is indeed a big day for him and Priya. He is a special friend and I want him to feel special." "Raghav..."She tugged his hand while he was getting up. "I love you" She stood up and hugged him. "You are the best person I have ever met" "Me too" and hugged her tightly.
Kalpi was standing before her wardrobe in her room looking for any Indian dress and finally she saw a Salwaar Kameez and remembered it was gifted by Priya when they both had gone to shopping. She quickly changed and applied proper make up. She has to look traditional as per the occassion.
After coming out she saw Raghav who was already dressed in formal shirt pant and was waiting for her. "Sorrry...sorry..sorry...couldn't make it on time. By the way you are looking handsome." "Nothing new girls take time in dressing. And thanks for the compliment. Tum bhi thik hi lag rahi ho. " He moved towards the door leaving behind a startled Kalpi who saw a completely different Raghav...after he became her boyfriend.
"Love its such an awesome feeling. It makes you do things you never ever expectedfrom yourself."
Raghav didn't talk with Sammy till the time he didn't get his kiss from Kalpi. He teased her when he complimented him and laughed at Sammy for his anxiety. Kalpi got to see a different Raghav...her Raghav...her boyfriend.
