Here is a plot to a new story that I am planning to start in December together with When Love Clashes

Raghav Singhania and Samar (Sammy) Raizada are childhood friends. They had both lived together with each other since 5 years of age. Raghav was an orphan, when Mr. and Mrs. Raizada had adopted him. Since then, the two boys had done everything together. Raghav has always been a shy one; he always let Sammy do most of the talking and interaction with other people. Not only outspoken, Sammy is also bratty of the two.

He was initially introduced into Raizada family to help out as part-time domestic help and attend school simultaneously. Raghav and Sammy had a tough time bonding initially. But, their diverse outlook towards life is what probably got them closer to each other. The turning point in their relationship was the death of Sammy's father when he was 12. Raghav helped Sammy through that crisis and from that moment on Mrs. Gauri Raizada had treated them equally and made him her legal heir. But, Raghav denied changing his last name in order to stay closer to his roots.

Raghav was indebted to the Raizada's for adopting him and giving him the opportunity to get a good education and life. He had no memories of his own family and hence if need be, he would sacrifice his life for Sammy and his family.

*************************************************

Kalpana Jadhav lives in US and is the only child of her parents. Born and brought up in US, she feels quiet estranged from her culture and country. She has no desire of visiting her parent's homeland but is forced to come back to attend her first cousins wedding. She is a confused soul who feels more American when with Indians and more Indian when with Americans. Who is she really? Will she ever figure out her true self??

I won't disclose more about Kalpi's character in the sketch. You will have to read the FF to know more about her spontaneity and her journey to find her true-self 😳

A sneak peak into the story 😉

Maya grinned and remained silent; she had seen Kalpi behave uncomfortably many times before- whenever they bumped into a group of Asian students, Kalpi had a pattern of staring through them and not hailing their presence, She made weird faces when they all went out to eat Indian food and pretend as if she did not recognize the names of the dishes, she would often turn down a lot of dates from other Asian boys, "Ugh! Who would want to date an Indian guy? They are so dorky!" Nobody had ever been able to explain this idiosyncrasy about Kalpi; Maya was also an Indian brought up in a foreign land and knew few other Asian girls- but none of them derided their heritage and culture as much as Kalpi did.

Raghav was a little mystified by the strange woman; there was something very intense and magnetic about her that he could not explain, "Hi.you..You sing well," he fumbled for words as he shook her hand. He felt a little shiver again as his warm hands clasped her soft and tiny hands. Raghav reluctantly let go of her hand but continued to stare at her beautiful brown eyes. There was something mesmerizing about her eyes that he could not explain either.
