Raghav's house:
It's dark.Raghav lits up acandle and puts on the candle stand and places on the table.Calls forKalpi.
R: Kalpi...come here...Iguess you need to stay back here only,we cannot go out neither thephones are working not the storm is stopping. Come here lets eatdinner.
Kalpi comes and both havedinner.Kalpi looks worried and tiered. After dinner Kalpi organizesthe plates and raghav tells her not to do so.
R: Leave it Kalpi,you are tired, youneed rest ...come.
Raghav pulls her by hand and takesher to his bedroom and asks her to sleep for a while. She isconscious of the fact that it' s Raghav's bedroom.
R:I promise you...i willbehave myself, have faith on me please, come sleep here.
Kalpi looks here and there, thinkssomething.
R:Looking for a night dress tochange?The side cupboard is having all your night suits.
He quickly opens the cupboard,Kalpilooks at them,with the dim candle light, the dresses were lookingbeautiful. Raghav pulls out a peach color simple night dress andshows to her.
Kalpi looks down and says
K:No no,I am fine,actually I amhaving headache, can I have a medicine if you have.
R:I do not think I have a pill,but Ihave an alternative medicine, come here sleep ,I will give you that
Kalpi slowly goes near the bed andslips herself inside the sheets and settles herself.She is shy andconscious too.
Raghav comes near her and sits andputs her head on his lap and strokes her head softly and says
R:I will massage your head and youwill sleep peacefully.
Raghav massages her head gently andshe sleeps within minutes. Raghav finds her really cute whilesleeping. But sleep was far away from Raghav's eyes there aremany good as well as disturbing thoughts coming to his mind.He isthinking about his future life with Kalpi,His concern for her career,his revenge plan against Kapoors and his obligation about Maya'sfamily, he was thinking again and again all his past and what willhappen in future.
In the middle of the night Kalpiwakes up to find raghav still awake and lost in his thoughts. Shegets worried and says
K:What happened to you,why are youstill awake, anything bothering you.
R: (looks at her softly) nothing mysweetie...i was just thinking about many things but noworries,...i am fine.
K:Are you not sleepy? Do you stayawake till late hours most days?
R:Yes I guess so,I keep doing mywork and get busy so always have the habit of sleeping late.
Kalpi reaches to his lips and kisseshim and says
K:It's another bad habit ofyours, so do not you know early to bed ...early to rise...makea man healthy wealthy and wise.
R:Yes I know, but I did not haveanyone before you ,to remind me of the same and now that you are inmy life, I will try to adopt healthy habits.
Kalpi hugs him and looks into hiseyes and again kisses his lips.
K:Now you sleep please.
Raghav hugs her close and sleepspeacefully in her arms. May be he had a peaceful sleep after manymany years in her arms.
Early in the morning Raghav gets upand finds kalpi standing near the window looking outside. He gets upand goes behind her and hug her from the back.
R:Good morning Mrs Singhania...Iguess the storm is stopped.
Kalpi looks unhappy and sad and says
K:and now I have to go to myhouse...i ll miss you.
R:I will miss you too baby...
Soon both gets ready and Kalpi putson the dress which she was wearing last morning .She holds thechanged dress in her hand and was thinking where to wash the same.Raghav grabs the dress from her hand and says
R:Can I keep this with me, this willremind me of you, it has your intoxicating scent which will linger inmy mind and keep reminding me of the peaceful night we spenttogether, This will remind me of my promise to you and myresponsibilities .Of course...I will miss you...till wemeet again on Sunday.
Kalpi smiles and both go outside,Raghav starts his car and drives slowly as there are still waterclogging on the road but rain and storm has stopped as well as waterhas resided too.
Soon they reach the chawl,Raghavgoes upstairs with Kalpi and finds Kamala/Vithal /Pakya doingpuja.The old lady was in the bathroom.Kalpi and Raghav goes insidethe house.Just then Kanta (Kamla's neightbour) comes there
Kanta:Kamal a...I am sohappy today,My daughter s marriage is fixed,just now got thephone call from my relative.her marriage is fixed next month.
Kamla opens her eyes and says
KA:Wow...Kanta tai,(Then shesees kalpi and Raghav too)arey Raghav baba ...aap.Kalpi ...youhave come,we were tense...Oh deva...Raghav Baba...pleasesit.
Raghav goes forward and touchesKamala and Vitthal's feet. Both are stunned. Raghav says
R:Bless me Kamala ma and Vitthal sirI am going to start a new overseas project from next week,justthought of taking your blessings for the same.
Kalpi is smiling looking atthis.Both Vitthal and Kamala says
Ka/Vi:Our best wishes are with youalways,you have helped us in so many ways,we are not sure how tothank you for the same.
Raghav gets to go,Kamala stops himand says
Ka:Please come have breakfast withus...we do not have many things to offer you,but wewould be glad if you have breakfast with us today.
Raghav happily agrees to the same,thinking that he can spend some more time seeing Kalpi infront ofhim.
KA:Kalpi ...what are youthinking, come help me serve Raghav Baba
Kalpi wakes from her trance andfollows her mother giving a smiling glance at Raghav.Just then Pakhiarrives at Kamala's house.She is very happy as she has seenRaghav's car outside the chawl gate.
P:Kamala Maa,good morning (comesrunning and hugging Kamala hen she sees Raghav)Raghav sir...goodmorning...how come you are here.
Ka:Come Pakhi beta havebreakfast...Actually Raghav Baba came to drop Kalpi,yesterdayKalpi had to be in his place due to rains,so he came to drop her.
P:So sweet of you sir( She runs tokalpi and hugs her saying )are you ok...I got worried for all ofyou,but phones were not working so could not contact anyone ...henceI came here to meet you all.
R:Good morning ...how is thepresentation on the project which Sammy told you yesterday.
P:Sir I came to take some help fromKalpi on the same will complete it today and mail you.I have tocomplete the same today as I need to get prepared for the partytomorrow at your place (giving a shy smile)
R:ok...if kalpi is free,shecan help you,as she has lot of work tomorrow , as she needs tocomplete one more presentation.
Kalpi give s blank look at Raghavand asks
K:Sir which other presentation.
R: (Thinking how innocent she is)...Yaforgot to mention Maya called last night and asked me to convey toyou about some more work and then the phones got disconnected hencecould not get you connected to her.
K:Oh ...ok,I will speak to her.
R:no...You cannot as she isunwell and told me not to disturb her.You come to my place in theafternoon tomorrow at 4pm ,before the party at 9pm we can finish thePresentation.
Pakya comes running with the newspapers in his hand.
Pak:aai,Baba,Kalpi...look atthe news paper.
Everyone looks at Pakya.
Pak:Let me announce to youall...topper of Mumbai University...Ms Kalpanajadav...
Kamala/Vitthal/pakhi:What?
Kalpi smiles at Raghav.
K: Yes Aai,Baba,Dada ...Sammysir contacted the university people and got my marks re evaluatedlast week and today is the same in the news paper and also theapology letter from our collage on the result. Sammy sir'suncle helped him in this.
P:oh HHH...Sammy sir likes youa lot...
R:Yes ...Sammy has lots ofrespect and honor for Kalpana.He and Maya has always appreciated herwork and knowledge. I am sad that now onwards Kalpana is working withMaya.But I believe that good things happen to good people.so I guessKalpana deserves the best.
Everyone is very Happy and huggingeach other.Kalpi is staring at Raghav ,both have a eye lock.
R:Ok Kalpana ...I am leavingfor the day. See you tomorrow at my place and complete the work.Iwill send the car and the driver at 4pm tomorrow to pick you up as itmight rain tomorrow also ,so Do not venture in rain.
KA:Raghav baba ...break fast...?
R:Some other time...seeingyour happiness I am full.((Laughs and goes from there ,giving a quickglance at Kalpi)
Vithal thinks in his mind this Sammy,Raghav baba and Maya are so good, they are taking care of myprincess.
Just then Kalpi receives a SMS fromRaghav. It says:"See you tomorrow at 4pm,I have somethingspecial for you tomorrow...please be on time. I love you"with a kissing smiley.Kalpi blushes.Just then she receives anothermessage from Sammy it says "congratulations ...topper...allthe best see you tomorrow at the party."
Pakhi observes Kalpi blushing andasks her
P:What happened ...whosemessages you are getting (grabs kalpi's phone and sees Sammy'smessage.)Oh...ohh...Sammy s message.Humm...(thinksin her mind...something definitely cooking between Sammy andkalpi).
