EMA was already in news for going off air when Bandhan and other serials were lined up to air on the channel so it was not surprising for me that the show has ended as it had low TRPs as well. I would also feel bad the same way you are feeling bad now as I wanted the serial to go on for a long time when Ragna were in it but after their exit, I wanted it to end soon not because they were not there but because they blamed Ragna for the TRPs instead of accepting their mistakes. They could have easily not said anything but they chose to play the blame game which was not appreciated by me.
I believe that an actor should be aware of the history of the serial he/she enters and study what the serial is about before taking a final decision and I believe that it was a wrong decision. Ashish too was promised to get a good role as Raghav which I believe was a good role initially but then was completely butchered when he was made a dumb character having no dialogues and was rarely seen in any episodes with 1-2 minutes screen space. Rachana too had a good character in the beginning which was again destroyed with no dialogues except for looking at Kamla for those 20 minutes in the serial.
It's obvious that Kamla is the lead of the serial but the script also matters and for me the script too made no sense as the revamp was unnecessary and the meaning of the serial vanished where a bai's daughter achieves her dreams. The script and story for Asha or Kunhal may be nice but it would have been better that the show took a complete revamp instead of only changing Kalpana's face and calling it a revamp. Hence the story made no sense to a viewer like me as I tried to relate it to the actual and original story but it didn't help as it was not even new but they repeated what they showed earlier in the same serial with similar scenes and characters.
It is more the mistake of the CVs than the channel/actors as the channel chooses to bring down any show of their choice while the CVs write the story and the characters if I am not wrong and the CVs did not do a decent job and hence the show failed to generate decent TRPs and actors are just doing their job and have no control over the TRP and even the script. ZEE is only interested in doing good business and always gives false hopes which is not shocking for me as they always told us "Don't be disappointed, a new twist is on it's way" 😆
Anyways, I am only giving my POV here and it does not mean to offend anyone whether actor/character/member.
if you think that the new actors knew everything about the show even the future of the show and does not count in for even having an ounce of sympathy , then it's your POV not mine for sure. i saw a post in this thread which i felt was correct and that's why i replied to it.
i don't believe on the concept that actors only had to look back at the history of the show and not on the future line and i don't believe that actors have some supernatural powers wherein they will know that the show can't work and they should deny it.
there are ample of shows who are in the news for going off air from qubool hai to pr etc , nothing new in that . pr is been on the news for going off air since december 2012 but nothing happened even when it had lousy storyline and had some major changes . same news came for many other shows too . when a show really goes off air , the news comes atleast 1-2 month ago for example rangrasiya whose news of going off came in july end and show will go off air after mid sept . one article stated that ema was about to be axed but it got saved and now revamp is planned which surely indicates that axing ema was a sudden decision.
zee tv doesn't take trp into consideration for axing a show . they axed a show like do dil bandhe ek dori se which was giving good trps and they are still not axing the show like pr who not only got shifted at an early evening slot but is getting even less trp then ema . so trp was definately not an excuse for zee.
the ph and channel choose to play the blame game not the new set of actors who have nothing to do with this mess . they came to work and take the show further , that's the reason they were never involved in the blame game . instead they themselves were bashed by mindless reason by mindless persons weather it's kunal or asha , especially asha.(from twitter , fb , youtube etc)🤢
it's obivious that the new actors knew the concept and past of the show that's why they were able to read the future story of the show . they were told about the revamp and everything new in the show
. and as i said earlier they are not fools to take up a weak script like that only , they were shown a good script with good future of the show and they agreed after it , it was clearly seen in the interviews .
who knows just like ashish and rachna were offered good role but later on butchured the roles , the same might have happened with asha . it's a norm in indian shows , every character that is loved or is shown strong is badly butuchured . we have witnessed that in pr and other shows where much loved and strong characters were made mess , and much more worse butchured than ema and ragna . asha's character was not even given time to devlop.
the story after 2-3 episodes of revamp started running in supersonic speed forgetting everything and clearing up the mess . may be if the show would have got proper time they would have showed suhana turning to kalpi again and starting her struggle once again and some more tracks to aryan suhana track which was mentioned by asha. cvs have rushed up everything and the channel was already there to axe the show without giving a single chance to the actors to settle down knowing that ema has undergone some major changes like replacement and it might take some months to settle properly.
no story in the indian television make any sense and their cvs love to live in fools paradise . i would have totally blamed the cvs and not the channel if the show would have runned for few months after revamp and stil couldn't have good trps , but here the channel didn't gave any chance to the new development . it is seen in many shows that a leap or revamp takes a lot of time to settle down properly for viewers but here not even one month was given to the new storyline which also led to the rush in the story and instead of solving the problem it created more mess. and now it will have an abrupt end.
i know how zee is . they are shameless people . they have harrased the arvi/ashvik fans for more than two years , so i have never trusted on them and after this i will never . i can't balme or accuse or tally any new actors when i can clearly see that they were offered and promised for a good show , stroyline and future , but cheated on them without giving them even a month's time to do something.
that's my POV. it's better to agree to disagree because i already had enough of negative stuffs about asha since mid july .
