srry many had already answered ir qs. I read smwhr that it started with a cause to help ALS Association. whoeva chalenges u , u hve to perform ice bucket challenge within 24 hrs n donate $10 or donate $100 if u do not accept d challenge

actually most people end up doing the challenge and donating money to the charity as well. It's a fun way to get thousands of people to want to donate to this charity or charities in general. In like less than three weeks, this charity raised over 15 million dollars which is beyond impressive. This started in the States and has gone completely viral.. its awesome.!!!!!

Just today there is news that the co-founder of this challenge Corey Griffin died of drowning at age 27.He had raised $100,000 as funds just before his death.

On another note, loved Ashish as usual in the video.
