Ashish temporary exit:(

TV show Ek Mutthi Aasmaan will soon undergo a makeover, leading to the temporary exit of male lead Ashish Chowdhry.

That's not all. The female lead, Rachana Parulkar, will also be replaced by actress Asha Negi, who was seen as Purvi in Pavitra Rishta. The changes will be played out thus: Both Raghav (Ashish) and Kalpi (Rachana) will meet with an accident. While the former will go missing for some time, the latter will undergo a plastic surgery and get a new face. The heroine, we hear, will also suffer from memory loss.

Said a source, "It seems that the storyline has failed to impress the audience. The channel and the production house want to revamp the show. Asha will play Kalpi post the plastic surgery."

Asha confirmed, "I see the replacement in an already established show as a challenge, but I am up for it."

When contacted, Rachana said, "I was informed of the development yesterday. Honestly, I was disappointed but I can't be sulking over it. I would like to walk out with dignity. Ya, I'd seen that article in some post. It's sad CVs didn't learn a thing from what fans' wanted, or didn't want to! Wish at least Ashish learns, I expect a bi of sensitivity from him. Now it's been "professionalism" Vs "sensitivity".

Thanks for info. Look, it's the man's choice, we don't know his reason/reasons for staying on. If he doesn't have a problem and his family doesn't have a problem with him continuing, then why should we? You may not agree with the choice that he made but you have the choice whether to accept or not accept, the choice to respect or not respect his decision. At the end of the day the man has to think about his family and how to provide for them, just my opinion.

Furthermore EMA will be Kasamh Se 2, with the whole face change and memory loss. I say all the best to creatives and the characters and I hope their new twist is a good success. I know, I'm done with this show after seeing Rachana's final scene.
