Sitting on her bed Kalpi was working on her laptop... whenever she tried to focus on her work her thoughts drifted to Raghav... It has been three weeks since that presentation incident... Both Raghav and Kalpi after that day spent many sleepless nights thinking about each other...precisely thinking about each other's motives behind their actions...
While Kalpi tried to talk to Raghav , he did his research with the help of informers... though different ways both attained the same thing 'FAILURE'...The only info that Raghav got was that which he already knew (thanks to Prem and Paakhi's non-stop chatter about Kalpi)... On the other hand Kalpi never got to chat with Raghav...the only talk they had was while he assigned work to the whole team...
Every move of either of them failed... Kalpi had almost decided to stop her lame attempts to talk to him that showed her like a desperate woman while Raghav had already called off his informer...

After another busy day Kalpi was heading home..Usually she was picked up and dropped by Kapoor siblings but it was their cousin's wedding in Delhi ... so they were out for two weeks...
Kalpi was trying to stop an auto rickshaw when she saw an old lady standing on the partition of the road waiting to go to the other side of the road... Immediately dodging the passing cars Kalpi went to the old lady and helped her cross... She came back on the side of road where she was standing earlier when she got a call from Pakya...
A car was coming from behind and it was about to hit Kalpi when a strong arm pulled her making her phone fall...It was Raghav who was standing nearby observing Kalpi help the woman and when he saw a car approaching her quickly went near her and pulled her but in the process of balancing herself she twisted her leg.."Aah",she blurted in pain...
Without uttering a word he took her to his car ... limping on her one leg she reached the car and Raghav seated her on the front seat...he bent to check whether it was a fracture.. "Its not a fracture mostly a minor sprain...",Raghav said .."Hmm..",Kalpi replied...After giving her the fallen phone he went to sit on the driver's seat.."Before helping others learn to help yourself Ms.Varma"

They first went to the hospital and then to Kalpi's apartment... the doctor suggested her to use crutch to walk...Raghav tried to help her till the elevator but she insisted that she can easily walk using the crutch...

"Damn it..", Kalpi said on seeing the 'Out of service' board... Just then her building watchman came and handed her an envelope from Pakya..."Your phone was switched off...you shouldn't get worried so instead of sending sms I dropped a letter...I'm going to Delhi for a project work.. One of the team member fell ill so I am filling in his position... will be back after one month... till then take care and aai said that she'll be back in two weeks till then Aatya will stay at our place..."..
(Aatya means father's sister..😉)
"Can it get more worse...dada is also not here..", thinking so she looked at the stair case.. letting out a breathe she said," Come on Kalpi...Second floor hi hai... you can do it.."..She successfully climbed three stairs but on the fourth she slipped and was about to fall when a similar strong pair of arms held her... "Do you have a hobby of falling ??",he asked raising his eyebrows...
After a lot of argument Raghav lifted Kalpi in bridal style and took her upstairs... they reached her home ...Helping Kalpi stand using crutch Raghav rang the bell...He was looking down in his phone when someone opened the door and the sight in front rooted him on the spot...
"Kalpi beta..why are you so late??", asked the woman who opened the door...While entering the home Kalpi told everything to her aatya and also introduced Raghav... Raghav was too shocked to say anything and when Kalpi's aatya went inside to get a glass of water for Raghav he left bidding good bye to Kalpi...

Kapoors were out of town so Raghav decided to stay at his apartment... he was sitting on his couch looking at an old photo album...his heart couldn't believe what his eyes saw few minutes ago.. "It can't be... She can't be...", words were falling short to describe his turmoil... his confusion... He immediately picked up his phone to call someone.."Get every possible detail on Mrs.Gauri Singhaania"...
Yes... The woman he saw in Kalpi's apartment was his mother... his heart said so but he couldn't believe it coz she left him one year before his father's death and never returned... The only sorrow in his childhood was that his mom never cared about him... She never came back for him..And now the wound that dried years ago was fresh again...
