You have put my thoughts in words. I had been thinking the same thing. He takes Kalpi for granted. He knows she will always be there no matter what. In Poo's case he has never been rude to her even when the situation demanded. In my mind I have come up with two reasons for it:
Lets start with Kalpi and Raghav:
1) Raghav feels strongly for her and thus all his passion comes out in form of anger or desire. Also, these two are brilliant actors and take a cue from each other and thus give sizzling perfomance and put the stage on fire literally.
2)Whenever there is a need to defend Kalpi, Kamla is always present there and she being the main lead has to take all the glory. He is not allowed to voice his opinions by the CVs..lol. Also, they have made Kamla the man of the show so the things have to revolve around her. Showing him stronger in front of her might dillute her character.
Now Raghav and Pakhi
1)He is totally indifferent to her and that's good coz she does not exist in his universe. Which means he has no feelings for her. Also, the girl is such a pathetic actor that during her scenes with Ashish I actually feel he is giving a below average perfomance.
2) His defending her is again because Kamla is not there when he does it...lol. So they show him as a strong character in front of sidey's. If Kamla had been there she wud have defended Poo.
I also felt disheartened when he spoke for Poo but did not even give a thought to Kalpi's plight. But believe me the Raghav Singhania of India Forum and that of EMA are two different individuals. They can never be one - CVs will never let him be stronger than Kamla. Its after all her dream, her EMA.
