I don't think that pd favours p 🐷 khi because she is fair but because we didn't identify with the character. There are many sawali heroines in TV and films kalpi is more beautiful than p 🐷 khi kalpi has beautiful feminine delicate features and looks like a doll where is the other looks very plastic. To name a few sawali actors or dusky skinned actresses one is rajshiri from saat phere , rani mukherji, a no from aur pyar hogya, barkha bisht, rekha, kajol, parul chauhan just because someone has sawala complexion doesn't mean they aren't beautiful

Dear the fair complexion is a big deal in majority of the india even today. People with fair skin are placed on little higher pedestal than the one with dusky/brown skin. I really do appreciate the television and movie industry who has given such wonderful platform to dusky skinned actresses and models. but believe me if you read about these ladies, the journey wasn't easy. Do you know Rachna played the character of Saloni(Rajshree)'s daughter in Saath Phere. If I remember vaguely the saath phere began with the two sisters one being fair complexion and other one being dark complexion...

I know but features play a big part in being beautiful and kalpi has awesome features. P 🐷 khi really needs to pour on the makeup I've noticed. Her features aren't that nice. And acting well really bad.
