I started watching EMA last year thinking it would be different, a new story, a new concept something different from the run of the mill saas bahu serials - when it started, I didnt even imagine that it would blossom into something so beautiful - that the housemaid fight for her daughter's right to study, for education, to grow would blossom into this beautiful love story.
Then came Valentine's day - I am a hard core romantic - Valentine's day is a v important day. That was the day when Kalpi comes and takes Raghav to the Kapoor house because Paaki has locked herself up. Then the interaction in the car, interested me. Then the beautiful love story developed.
I was hooked!!! No other serial has had this effect on me!!
Every moment I was awake I was watching the episodes over and over again - I know each and every episode (the Ragna moments only of course), each dialogue each expression, the looks, the teasing the love!! To the daughter that my daughter started teasing me about Raghav Baba - she said mom, how do you like him. How could I tell her that I just drowned in those eyes, that smile - the Ragna magic!!! That was every wakeful moment, but then I used to dream about Raghav Singhania too.
They rushed the marriage track - I thought then itself - hey, I thought this serial was about Kalpi's achievement - a growth of a poor girl in a rich man's world. Is that growth going to be achieved by marrying a rich man? Though I loved Ragna I didnt identify with this track. It didnt fit with what the serial promised at the outset!
I joined this forum, met like minded friends who understood exactly what I was going thru - I created a twitter account. All my time I used to come running to check if there were any new updates - any new spoilers, any new tweets from our Ragna - then came May 9th and May 12th when Raghav came and said Sorry - Sorry Kalpi but I had to marry Paakhi because I had to take revenge. My heart broke. I kept watching out for some more time, hoping that it was a dream, a joke and Raghav would come back and tell Kalpi that it was all false.
Then started the deterioration, the CVs realised they had messed up big time and then went all over the place trying to cover up and have managed to botchup what was a beautiful serial with lot of hopes. And a beautiful love story.
But, it has at least brought me out of my dream world, I have slooowly started coming back to normalcy - I guess I think that's what the CVs want, forget Ragna, but they don't realise for me if there is no Ragna, there is no EMA - they have spoilt me.
Also, they should understand, when we say Ragna, it doesnt mean showing 2 or 3 minutes of Raghav and Kalpi in someone's imagination is not Ragna... Ragna is a concept - not them being physically together - just the fact that Pukey is around is enough to say that there is no Ragna!!!
Wow that was a long post - had to get it all out - anyways I am back to my normal life, my online games, Scrabble, Monopoly, Bridge - anyone interested in playing PM me!!!!!
I will still continue watching all the episodes of Ragna hat I have downloaded and be happy - I miss them thoughðŸ˜
