The mothers of Ek Mutthi Aasmaan are literally unbelievable!! One word Selfish!
From my own experience, ammi's objective in life has been to keep me happy with lots of love. yes spoiled, I am, but her love has incorporated strong values to deal with the highs and lows that life will always bestow upon me! Through her love and guidance she is doing her best to ensure I have been taught decent values and morals to make me a good human being!

Not once has my mother insisted I take a route of revenge over wrong doings as I was always taught two wrongs don't make a right. Why can't the mothers of EMA see this? Especially Gauri? This woman has found her son after 20 years and yes she has every right to be angry and bitter! Nevertheless, she should be making precious memories & moments with her son but instead is making him sacrifice his happiness. Is this the price Raghav has to pay for being borne by this mother?

At the same time, my much beloved Kalpana is also paying a ridiculous price for her mothers antics in regards to her own happiness and dare I say, self respect and her own identity? Everything is to make her aii happy and to attain her own mothers love? Kalpi wake up merey bacchi, nothing you will do will ever win your aii over. Again, this the curse that you bear for being borne by Kamlaa's womb!! Your mother doesn't value you like she does Paakhi as being born from her womb isn't as important as being breast fed by her!!

On the other hand, we have Paakhi. Her mother has no interest in her happiness unless it brings in a dus hazaar crore Malik. She unfortunately has been been borne by a greedy and conniving/murderous mother. Unlike the others, she has compensation in the form of Kamlaa Maa who contributed to Paakhi being an airhead; she has diluted Paakhi of everything Neetu gave her at birth by her bhindi-fied breast milk😆

The mothers of this show are punishing their children for their own Ek Mutthi Aasmaan. They have forgotten, they have lived their lives, it's now time for their children but no, the mothers are too selfish to acknowledge this.

All three are having to bear the unfortunate fate of being born to such idiotic mothers!!

Unfortunately, although the a biblical cord has been cut at birth these mothers have forced an onslaught of badlaa on the lives of their children!! Yes Kismet has played a poor hand when choosing mothers for these three. The wombs of these three mothers would always seek a price for nourishing them. The price? strategic tools for future battles...

It is simply shocking and disgusting & Im sure Mother Nature is grumbling as the term motherhood is being destroyed by these mothers & of course this crazy show!

Great post Sheena!👍🏼
You have explained everything well and I agree with you! Neetu for sure is selfish. She wanted money by marrying Paakhi off to a rich guy.😡
Kamla Ma has taught Kalpi about her dreams, not once did she ask 'Hey Kalpi what are your dreams?'
And Gauri..she has not always been selfish. It's just time and the fire of revenge has overshadowed her mind and she can think of nothing else. Right now she is behaving really immature. I believe that there's still time for her to come back to her senses, though.

I share the exact sentiments and have nothing much to add from my side. All I can say is the Creatives of Ek Muthi Aasmaan has put Motherhood on Shame👎🏼 on the Facade of Fiction *sighh*

Thanks :) 😳

I have no hope for Kamlaa or Neetu but I still for some bizarre reason hold some faith in Gauri - prob as she will be Kalpi's saas lol

Yes motherhood has been belittled when it is the very essence of life as we know it!!! In this instance I'm so glad it's reel life and not real life 😆

Woo hoo Sheens,Atta girl!'
Yes,these 3 namuneins of motherhood are an insult to anything remotely associated with mothering.

And I seriously want to ask the writers and CVs, why they made #RagNa at all, when all they wanted were 3 avenging devils Ki story!

Despite the entire episode being spoiled yesterday, my cheap thrill was that the Bollywood actress didn't open her trap too much. I might have committed suuucide if I heard any more matronly vitriol.

It's sad that through emotional blackmail, these mothers are ruining their kids lives and stressing viewers.

Time some one told Kamla & Gauri to shove their version of motherhood, somewhere dark.😡

Oye Sheens, you are on a roll. Post pe post.

I am still reeling from my long post yesterday😆 So may post later here.

For now, I am still cracking up at the doodh ka karz dialogue. 🤣

What was that? Dialogues from movies before Nirupa Roy.

The only way to avenge is to torture Pakhi as it will hurt her parents, the parents who dont care about her at all. Like seriously. What century are we living in?

Increasingly, I am getting embarrassed that I am/ was hooked to this show.😆

BTW - is it just me who thinks Ashish was looking bored yesterday 😆 Not blaming him at all. Just saying.

Lovely post
I agree with you completely. The mothers of EMA are only concerned about their happiness and no one else's...truly truly sad

All the mothers on EMA are at least a bit cuckoo & it's for reasons like this for example as to why I just couldn't seriously dislike Paakhi who has Neetu as a biological mother & ended up being raised by Kamla who is Mrs. Mahaan. Just look at both these women😕.
