I assume like me most of you got hooked to EMA because of the character - Raghav Singhania. I was totally away from TV serials for a long time until one evening during my holidays I saw Ashish on TV. And I can say without any guilt there was no turning back, I used to read written updates and watch episodes on youtube everyday as per my convenience. As I am in Australia so because of the time difference and study load most of the times the moment I wake up I had to read the written updates. It was a daily dose of medicine for me.
The great RS: Then: (The character I adore)
- The moment you glanced at him you knew he was here to stay. Dynamic, strong, confident and determined
- He was a very forthright person who knew how to handle every situations
- Though he never smiled or his eyes were cold, he knew he was never helpless as he had faith on himself
RS: Now (Reluctant to accept this change)
- His charm is lost somewhere (in the last scene). I just could not click with him. He was not The Great Raghav Singhania whom I adored
- The guy who could make everyone go silent by his mere presence let alone his words, had no words to say (I count expressions in it too as his expressions speak)
- His eye only showed helplessness : That is not a trait which belongs to him (He lost the essence of his character as he was bound to be a fighter always)
- He was outspoken about his hatred for Kapoor's, yet he marry their daughter without telling her that he is engaged to Kalpana and was about to marry her at the very same time they are tying the knot and exchanging the sacred vows (Definitely Pakhi does not know as she is smiling)
- The same guy who wanted to keep Kalpi happy always is the only the reason of her sorrows
- If they show RAKHI and his helplessness and introduce a better parallel lead (strong and the one who stays with Kalpi), his character might just be overshadowed
