Plot

Characters

Kalpana Oberoi : Main female protagonist. She is strong and sophisticated girl. A senior police officer who wants to protect nation from the threats. Elder sister of Sanjana who is very close to her. She is very traditional and disciplined unlike her sister.

Sanjana Oberoi : Second female protagonist. A free living, bubbly and intelligent girl. Works in software company in Singapore and a hacker. Her dream is to be successful. Even though she is modern but she is instilled traditional values by her sister.

Riya Gujral : Third female protagonist. Rich Fashion designer who wants to make her own design company.Best friend of Sanjana.

Raghav Shergill : Male protagonist. An ambitious guy who lives on his own separately from his family. Another employee working in software company in India. Love interest of Alina. Best friend of Abhimanyu.

Yohan Malhotra : Second male protagonist. Wants to design his own cars but never got any attention from his family. Love interest of Sanjana.

Ray Singhania : Third male Protagonist. A rich and ambitious NRI who wishes to pursue high career and reach height of success. His family arranges his marriage with Sanjana. Love interests of Riya.

Sameer Malhotra : Police Officer. Elder brother of Yohan and Sufia.

Sonia Shergill : Police Officer. She also lives separately from her family.

Part 1

The plot revolves around two orphaned sister Kalpana and Sanjana who faces extraordinary problems in their life. Both are really close to each other. The story opens with a young girl named Sanjana who works in Software company in Singapore. She decides to move to India with her sister and continue her job there. Her sister Alina lives in chandigarh who works in a police headquarter. Both the sisters has a dark past which they are unaware of. Kalpana is overjoyed when her younger sister comes back. They spend a unique time with each other after many years. One of their neighbour suggests Kalpana to get Sanjana married and warns her to not give Sanjana so much freedom as she is young but she says that she trusts her sister more than anything. Kalpana remembers one of the priest's words and gets scared when he said that she and Sanjana will face with a harsh reality in future which can endanger their relationship. Within few days, Sanjana has to go to Bombay to resume her job. Kalpana decides to go after few weeks after she gets confirmation letter from her job.

When Sanjana reaches Bombay she finds it full of corruption. The womens and children in the slums are treated badly. She discover a building where illegal work is done which can be harmful for everyone in the city. She talks about this to Raghav, he tells her to ignore that matter. She meets Riya and she offers Sanjana to live with her at her house. She meets Riya's friends. Sufia, Abhi, Samarth, and Anjali. She clashes with Yohan at the first meeting as both of them get into tiff and hate each other.

Yohan is irritated by his sister who does not have time to talk with him. He is angry with his life as he does not have anybody to share his problems at home. Sanjana meets the manager of the company, Maya who is very strict and punctual about work. She gets impressed by Sanjana's works and thinks to hand her the big contract. This infuriates Naina who wanted that contract and decides to ruin Sanjana's career. Slowly Sanjana gets well with everybody in the group except Yohan but she feels most attached to Raghav. With Sanjana's coming, Riya gets a big contract of designing from Paris. On her way to home, Sanjana is harassed by some goons, she slaps one of the goons and fights with them. She reminds that they should not consider a girl weak and alone. Yohan witnesses all this and thinks that a how can someone be so strong enough to face problem.

Meanwhile, in the headquarters, Karan joins the police where Sameer and Sonia works. Riya thinks her brother Karan left them to fulfill his dreams but she does not know the real reason. While Sanjana gets to know about Yohan's problems from Anjali. Sanjana decides to make him smile and make him live life. The whole group makes a plan to throw a lavish surprise party for Sanjana's birthday. But they have to make her stay away for few hours. Yohan takes her to meet his brother Sameer whom he meets every weekend, so the group can make party arrangements. Sanjana gets happy as to visit the beautiful place. She gets friendly with Sameer. Sameer gets happy to see Sanjana and thinks she is the perfect girl for his brother. He tells her about Yohan's insecurities which makes her sad. Sanjana decides to help Yohan recover from his past.
